I think his post is a bit misunderstood, and being bashed by fanboys. At least the way I read his post, in relation to Raphus' post: "Honorbuddy is updated and we are waiting for US realms to come back up to start internal testing." I think what he's trying to say, just not very well...if Honorbuddy was already updated, and the servers have been up for X amount of time now. Why is there no informative posts, such as "Thus far, our testing...blah blah blah, still no ETA." I've been through this before, this isn't my first account, so I'm in no rush (Before the fanboy flame turns to me). PQR works fine for now, for those of you in need of a rotation replacement until HB gets back online.
 
It's nothing to do with 'Fanboy flaming' If you read through more of his posts, his impression on testing a bot is ' hit start, done '. He neglects to remember that there is more to HBProducts than just a simple click of a button, there are hooks, offsets, CRs, Bot bases and even more to test, let alone a grace period to see if the bot is even currently detected via any snuck in code into the client.
 
I did read through his posts. He was being a bit overzealous. But that doesn't change the context of his post. Asking a question on something he obviously doesn't fully understand, just to receive the statement, "Quit Whining." Is just as ignorant. He's interested to know the current progress in testing, after 8+ hours, I can't say that's an overbearing request.

@Not2Legit , Actually, I disagree. If he had read the LISTED POST by the Honorbuddy personnel then these repeated and, imo, waste of posts threads, would not be needed. It states, "WHEN IT'S READY, WE WILL RELEASE IT. WE WANT IT TO BE SAFE FOR EVERYONE"! Period, end of story. Constant "Waaaaa, are we there yet, are we there yet?" posts aren't gonna get it done any quicker.

Auto update but sometimes that a wee bit buggy and you will need to download a whole new boot.

Because all these do is waste time that could be spent testing. When there is one, you'll find it. PQR has a lot less to verify and test than HB does.

So by your logic, because he has an interest in the status of Honorbuddy, and the Honorbuddy personnel said, "We'll get to Disney Land when we get there" means that his inquiries are useless? I beg to differ. Regardless of how you or I operate. People will continue to ask unless they get a response. I understand we're there when I see Mickey Mouse, but that doesn't mean everyone does. Does taking 5 - 10 minutes to give a status update take away from getting the end product out there? Sure. But it also puts the community at ease. Psychology is what it is, even if you don't understand it.
 
well as official post states. Honorbuddy is updated. They are Testing. Does it really take 8 hours to test if it works ?


Takes as long as it takes, not a min more not a min less...

Im sure when they are ready to release it, it shall be released.

A pointless status update is pointless. When there is something to say, it will be said.

A business strategy is a business strategy. I'm not arguing that it takes away from getting the job done, or even that this entire thread has any use. I'm simply saying that an inquiry shouldn't be flamed when it is a legitimate question. Khurune explained it the best, imo. Stating that there is a lot to be tested, and giving examples of what, is a lot more helpful than any post made in this thread, so far. Such as, "We'll get there, when we get there."
 
I feel like your forum behavior should reflect the status of your HB keys...

There is even more than Khurune mentioned, and I'd much rather be testing CRs than writing it up - if someone wants to find do the research, they can.

IMO Chinajade's post best describes it: "I want more frequent status updates, and more detail in them."
Status is communicated when internal milestones have been met. This alone determines the frequency of the updates. As far as 'detail', the Development team communicates the level of detail they feel appropriate for the milestone, and no more. Like any company, BosslandGmbH has knowledge and information that is not appropriate for public consumption..
