About
This plugin will put all you whispers and other chat messages in a log.
it will at the same time alert you of every chosen chat you want it to. (Whisper, /say, ETC.)
This will let you know if anyone has whispered you over night, and you will be able to find what they have said.
(it will log /say, /raid, /bg, /party, /1, /2, /3, ETC.)

Installation
Extract the content of the *.zip file into you're plugins folder, and then restart the bot. (Or press recompile in the plugins tab)
(to change the sound, simply put a new sound in the "Plugins\WhispAlert\Resources" called "whisp.wav")
The log will be saved in the logs folder as "07-06-2010 EspChatLog" to fit the date.

Updates
EspWhispAlert and EspChatLog has been combined into one plugin.
There is now a UI to control what the plugin should log and what chat should send sound alerts!

Could you implement another sound when somebody speaks uses /say when he is near you?

I think it will give you lots of sound spam, but ye.. should be easy..
 
It could be an option (enable / disable it separately from the whisper sound)? Sure, in a BG it's probably not very usefull but (at least for me) while grinding I've had many people that didn't whispered me but said something via /say ;)

this is buggy if u use 2 sessions... the last bot will crash if he gets an whisper, maybe because the plugin only has one log!
is there an way to get an logfile per account?

Any chance on an update? I was hoping to make a post requesting one if i couldnt find one searching :P I'm a person who has his computers in the open while working around the house to keep an eye on it. Glider had an addon/built in feature to play a sound if a player was near you for a certain amount of time, got a whisper, or a gm whisper. Made it nice to glide at night too, set the pc up in the bedroom, turn the monitor off, glide, and everyonce in a while i'd be waking up to the sound of a Submarines DIVE Siren as someone whispered me to tank or help with something. Granted it gave me a heart attack once in a wihle, but I was able to respond to whispers from guildies and people asking me if i was botting. Didnt get banned by a person report, got the Ban-hammer along with a bunch of others at the same time while gliding. Sneaky blizzard. Anywhooooo, update with option of custom sounds? I've got a .wav file begging to be submerged in gliding night sessions.

To use custom sound just replace either say.wav or whisp.wav from "\Plugins\EspChatLog\Resources"..

Not sure why, it wasn't the case for me.. worked like a charm..
Try to make a new copy of HB, so you dont run the same HB for 2 sessions of wow..
But so you got a HB for wow 1 and another HB for wow 2..
