Error trying to save the settings file: The file exists.

i repeatedly have this showing up in my logs on every character and it doesnt save any of my personalized settings for cr when i change them and hit save. i have tried fresh install. i have deleted the entire settings folder and started from scratch. nothing has worked. i am running the latest version of honorbuddy and have been using honorbuddy with no problems ever since my join date.

just tried that, nothing changed. got the exact same identical log to come up when starting honorbuddy. spam error of it not being able to save the file. by the way this error has made it so i cannot use honorbuddy at all. it does not quest properly or save anything i do.

The only thing that solved this for me was to reinstall windows. And make sure that you have everything from buddywizzard.

that seems a bit extreme of a fix lol, i do have everything from buddywizard though

updated to windows 10, and still have an issue with honorbuddy running. had the same error occur in the log. and it also disconnected me and a game error message popped up saying "couldnt find CVar named 'autoSelfCast'

trying a reinstall of wow as well as honorbuddy just to be sure.

Update: this did not help. instantly dc when i start honorbuddy.

okay well, this thread has shifted to a new problem i have fixed the saving error with the windows update. the disconnection seems to happen when i use quest bot and only on my rogue. i am using enyo just fine.
