Hello All, I have been receiving this error since yesterday and everything was working fine before, (no changes or updates from my end)

Here is what im experiencing:
- Honorbuddy Launcher fails to launch
- Bot takes a long time to open
- Bot sends several errors saying: Error trying to save the settings file: The file exists.
- Bot takes a long time to respond while selecting profiles, editing settings, or stopping
- Bot will stop moving randomly.

So far I have tried:
- deleted files within the settings folder
- Validating it is indeed running in admin mode, it is.
- Disabling/removing antivirus
- Re installing the bot
- Re installing the bot on an alternate disk, even an ssd (same results)
- removed:
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable
- Ran BuddyWizard and re installed the bot, same issue persisted

* Please note I went through this post too: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honor...204222-error-trying-save-settings-file-2.html

It seems to me this issue started after the last HB update.

Best regards!!

Here is my log:

its not in a dropbox folder or a folder thats being monitored by another application is it?

correct, it is not.

tried in 3 different locations, different drives. No other apps are running.

*Notice this was working fine before and there has been no changes (software or os updates on this system)

tried to clear Hb appdata folder?

Hello, I just cleared the appfolder within c:\users\myuser\appdata\local\bossland and reinstalled the bot again.

Same issue, here is the new log

Additional details:
- I'm running windows 8.1
- this is not a virtual machine

I Will try another computer and perform a fresh install of the bot and compare results.

run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
