ERROR: The HTTP connection failed! Are you sure you are connected to the internet?

Hello,
I am returning to WoW and HonorBuddy after some time away. I have downloaded the most recent release and am getting the following error:

The HTTP connection failed! Are you sure you are connected to the internet?

I have attached the log. I am guessing that this is a firewall issue but I am not having much luck. As far as I know, I have disabled the firewall yet continue to have the same problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What kind of firewall do you have? Do you just have the standard windows firewall?
 
I think that I was able to log in. I only speak English so I'm not 100% sure. The page that I have is Path Upload page.

Correct, that means your login is functioning and you have open sessions. That means its an issue on the client side, something not letting HB get to the internet or back. Try adding it as an exception in MSE (if its an option).
 
I listed it as an exception and didn't have any luck. I uninstalled MSE and am still having the same problem.

Windows Security Alerts shows that Windows Firewall is turned off and that I don't have any antivirus programs installed. I'm really confused as to what would be blocking HonorBuddy. :confused:

What's your network to the internet look like? Router? Firewall? School connection? etc
 
make a new admin wow acc and try to use it from there,post back with results
 
i have the same problem but idont know how to change proxy and that kind of stuff... please help me in words that i can understand...

Download the latest version available and you should be able to log in just fine! (:
