I'm in the middle of rebuilding my laptop so can't check to see whether this fixes the issue or not at the moment.

However, check in the Diablo 3 options and make sure that "Run 32 bit application" is still checked. I noticed last night that mine had reverted back to the default 64 bit after the patch.

May help, may not but thought I'd pass it along.
