Title says it all. Here is the content of the email. "This Diablo III account has been locked due to an auction-related issue. Until this issue is resolved, the account will be unavailable for play. Access to the Diablo III auction house is restricted until the account is unlocked." Truth-be-told, I sold about $100 worth of stuff in a few hours today. Before I had only sold 1 item 2 months ago for $86 and 2 items for $5 each. The email goes on: Contact Account Administration to recover access to the account: http://battle.net/support/article/5400055.

I will do this now, and report any developments.

probably because your PayPal details are different to your account details

Yes, I decided this was the reason. Hopefully they do not look at my account (Lol). More importantly, I hope they allow me to use account with PayPal still. My account name is just my initials...

I am just reading the Blizzard Terms of Use (again). Among other things, it is particular particularly irritating that we have no choice but to agree to things like this: BLIZZARD MAY SUSPEND, TERMINATE, MODIFY, OR DELETE ACCOUNTS AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON OR FOR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU. Of course it's just Blizzard covering their butts to avoid problems (employee terminates user's account, doesn't email user; Blizzard can't prove someone is exploiting but they think they are, so they ban account; etc.), but it's still a ridiculous thing to agree to.

Diablo3/WoW/ANYBlizzard game = Blizzards virtual Play Ground. These (ToS/EULA) are in any game you play Online. If you walk into a store with a shirt that says I <3 Canada. The store could ask you to leave. They have the right to refuse service. This is no different. If they feel you are doing something negative to what they deem fit to the product they released. They should and do have every right to remove your access.

Again this is no different then being told you physically have to leave a place of business and your business is unwanted.

You cheated, you got caught, now your upset. Does not change the Blizzard is able to deny you service if they choose. It is also far from over doing it. You have to click accept because they want you aware that these are they actions they will take. So do not try and push them.

Haha I'm not sure you understand why the account was suspended. The name my account was registered under didn't match my paypal account. I can play D3 again, and I just emailed Account Administration to get the RMAH unlocked as well.

Another thing: I wasn't mad. And I'm not "trying to push" anyone. Lol.

this happened to me and i called the support line, waited on hold for about 30min, they fixed it right there and told me to update my address in account details
