what are you talking about? there's a lot of people that still have this error and a lot of stuff unclear yet, so no, don't close it.

error still happening, preventing me from farming ghom effectively. it's really getting annoying...

Because your join date means something right? This error started out of nowhere and is only affecting a small number of people, most of whom seem to be botters, and yeah we don't know the reason so we're looking for answers, is that really odd? Are you really that stupid?
 
This error seems to trip at almost exactly 60 games, anyone else confirm?
I've observed this twice now and different gph, one was about 55 and the other was about 65, both got the error at 60 games created

Well, botting for a month without any such error then bam, the error comes out of nowhere (Yeah, an error like this happened 2 years ago and i'm sure plenty of bots were banned in the process so you can hardly write it off)

There's a screenshot of a GM saying it's a flag for potential botters.

None of GM's even answered all regions battle.net forum threads dedicated to this error.

And none of botter were banned because of this error 2 years ago....Cuz u know i was botting this game from release date using Immortal bot from a time DB was not even released.

And yes, the GM might be mistaken, but this thread has a purpose, don't like it? Then don't fucking read it you scrub.

xblinov whats the point of your posting? you realize your being about as productive as the "OMG THE SKY IS FALLING WE"RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" people right? ;)

So what we know:
Error 42002 isn't limited to Europe its affecting NA as well
Error 42002 has not shown its face since 2012 patch 15 until this past Tuesday Maint
GMs have said a number of different things - nothing consistent (Multibox, bot flag, ISP connection(lol?))
Error 42002 seems to only be affecting players that create a high number of games per day/week/month

Speculation:
Taking random breaks every hour seems to fix the problem (currently running 60 GPH for the last 26h with no 42002)
42002 seems to be a throttle to ease the server load

Now, with that said
I think most of us know/expect to get banned at some point - as comes the risk with botting, if you don't - you may want to reconsider your position on using db to start with.
Understanding the error/its a flag/a sign from dustin browder/jay wilson doesn't really matter much - the main concern is how do we get around it? :)
 
Ya i think we just need a way to run multiple scripts on different difficulties or a take a break option

true he sent it to me also, gm basically said in that post that people who get this error is because of to many games joined in short amount of time and it can have something to do with botting.


thats what i got from it anyways by using google translate, it was in german.
