Elemental or Enhancment?

What are your thoughts on elemental or enchanment for a shman?

I am usuing Enhancment right now, but I burn through mana LIKE CRAZY!

I have gone through 6 stacks of water today already while I was at school and after like 2 or 3 pulls he just stands there until he gets his mana back because he has gone through all his mana.

Would elemental be better? Or do I just have all the wroung gear?

What are your thoughts on this!?
 
Enhancement is by far the better spec for leveling/botting. Make sure you're using the most proficient talents. Don't be afraid to grab that weird gear with int/agi or int/stam while gearing.

Stack up hard on consumables if you're going to be away for extended times, too.
 
at 80 with enhance mana hasn't been a problem. You didn't say what level you were. Elem is gear dependent you really need the +int +sp +haste
 
Personally i levelled a shaman to 80 as elemental, worked like a charm didnt have any mana problems due to the talents and thundershock.
 
I'm currently botting my shaman. Admit I have all heirloom items I can for it, but from my experience, you MUST go elemental to 40 (it slows up towards 40), the moment you get DW you go enhancement. Stack greens from the AH. I've got absolutely no mana problems what so ever, and went from 40-68 in like 3 days botting it went crazy fast. Now im 68 im actually getting like 8hr TNL which means there is something wrong which I need to investigate. I'll probably move him to a new mesh and Northrend at 69.

But yeah - Elemental 40, Enhancement 40+. By far. :D. Use the ShamWOW CC aswell. And do buy waters as it may drink sometimes (but rarely).
 
I have an 80 shaman, since the begining of WOTLK, I went enhance! got the best gear and than got to be best on the server, they improved enhance very little, but now!!!! they're making it pretty much hella better with flame shock which'll grant ya haste d00d, imm say enhance!!!!!! and also, shamanistic rage is your friend! isnt that config'd to the bot? havent been on my shammy in a while (banned from lua ninja)
 
Has it all really changed that much? I played my shaman to 80 by hand over 5 years, was enhance even when it was bad, I love it now.
