Editing CS and XML

Quick question. i tried using the search function but didn't find anything helpful. What program do you use to edit XML profiles and custom classes? I tried notepad and wordpad but it is not saving correctly. Thanks

I use Visual studio for the .cs files., you can download the express version for free from Microsoft. for anything else I use Notpad++ which you can download at http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

notepad should work for any kind of quick editing you need to do, if you plan on doing more development, like making a CC, then Visual studio is what you need, for other quick edits, ive heard notepad++ is hand though ive never used it.
