I'd have to visit your hideout and debug on my machine to see if I can replicate the issue, but make sure your GGPK files are unmodified, as any issues in those could crash EB.
The pathfinding library code has been the same for almost 5 years now, so you either have some local issue affecting EB or are triggering a bug in the pathfinding library itself that no one else has ever had before. There was one known issue in a graveyard map that would break the pathfinding library time to time, but not hideouts.
