Selling accounts is a really risky way of making money. %90 of the time you will get a scammer. And not to mention you cant sell accounts to major website unless its for less money then the expantions alone cost. Making money in WoW is almost dead and soon there will be no point in even trying to make money in WoW.
I was thinking about the account thing as well but its very hard to find someone in your area who will pay 100$+ than what the 4 expansions cost.
Im really really hoping something happens that turns the wow economy around so we all can make tons of money from wow again because sadly i just found out about botting once the value of gold and such started to drop!
I dont really feel like learning a new game either such as AION or whatever game can make $ unless its the new star wars one!

How to slang wow gold profitably in one month
Instructions for how to make money playing wow.
1) Buy Wow account or level up your own character
2) Buy Honorbuddy
3) Get a level 85 (really any toon will do if equipped right) with Herb + Mining 512
4) Setup and learn How to use Gatherbuddy/Honorbuddy
5) If your to lazy to make your own, rotate profiles on the forum. Farm all cata gear and sell at the auction house. I use guild bank transfer, all toons are on one account for everything. I don't use a vanilla account as a potential scapegoat for gold selling or the auction house, I use my main and alts. I'm also to lazy to write my own profiles as of now.
6) Get a verified paypal account, goto a gold selling website and talk to them in chat, your going to get .70/1k right now. After this groundbreaking guide gets all of you guys goldselling, it will be .25/1k. fyi.
Potential Profit
You can make 20-30k a day per account just selling raw mats. ~$20 per day per account running 24/7. 5 accounts, $100 a day. Running more accounts then that at once is a major financial risk to your potential gold selling business. For example if you are running 5 accounts and 1 of them gets detected, It is likely ALL accounts will get band. That mean the cost of a single account being detected is the cost off ALL FIVE ACCOUNTS COMBINED. If your running 5 accounts this is usually in excess of $700 you have on the table at any given moment. Now what if you only run one account at a time? Then the cost of the account being banned is far less because no other accounts will be banned in combination. So start small, as in 1 account.
Took me around 1 week, 8-12 hours a day to set everything up correctly. I smoked numerous medical marijuana cigarettes for my back pain and also had to make hardware changes to my computer, so it obviously took me a little longer.
Now that everything is set up, takes approx 1-3 hours throughout the day to sell my mats, and sell the gold to the Chinese wholesalers. Again, still the marijuana, could probably cut this down to ~ 1hr if i was more motivated. Do you ever find yourself walking in circles outside of the Stormwind AH for no reason?
Cost include-
1) Cost of account being banned: This includes price of lost game time, lost gold in guild bank, and economic cost of time spend preparing the toon to farm or locating and making the arrangement to buy the account.
2) Cost of ongoing game time subscription
3) Cost of Honor Buddy
4) Cost of Depreciating accounts. You can usually sell your accounts for a fraction of what you paid.
As you can see, almost all of your costs come from the huge loss incurred when one or all of your accounts get banned. This sort of turn gold selling into a form a gambling, since if your accounts get banned before you pay then off selling gold -your in the red.
However, its fun, Im broke, and have nothing better to do. I installed wow, for the first time, exactly one month ago. As of now I hold 5 account each with a farming 85 and a GB/AH team of alts. In one month I have completely paid for all the accounts and other related costs (had 4 bands and 4 suspensions) and have still made around $100. However, I did have to make an initial investment that may to big for most gamers. Along the way you will find a bunch of little secrets and tips that may or may not give you a competitive advantage in this niche business. Oh and btw, I am a complete wow/mmo noob. I honestly don't even know how to use the games combat system without honorbuddy.
I'm sure other people know a lot more about this then I do. Just passing the time while my toons are slangin whip and cinder =D
