When I start the bot, it gives me the pop up saying I should start the bot in the orbital station. I tried that and it never moves. Same goes for any of the quests I'm on.

You only start at orbital station if you are on the very first quest that is on orbital station. Otherwise you start it on whatever little makeb island you have quests on. If it doesn't move then try moving your toon right by whatever the quest objective is as the mesh isn't perfect and buddywing might not be able to generate a path. If that still doesn't work then you need to post a log and tell me what quests you have and what each is asking you to do.

Yes, that pop up will always happen. Just to make sure are you starting the bot at the civilian settlements area where those quests are at and clicking ok on the pop up dialog box? Does it say anything in the little status bar on the bottom of the buddywing window after starting it? Are you using walter waltz or pureswtor combat routine? The log file really didn't say anything so I don't really know what is going on.

Ok, that must be the problem. I didn't see an OK button. I did however bring the window to the front and pressed enter and that seems to get it going. Maybe the button not showing up is an issue with Windows 8?

Ahh I have no idea if that is a windows 8 issue or what. I have only ever tested on windows 7. At least it works now but there will be more pop ups for when the bot needs assistance so make sure you hit enter on those as well.

I grinded almost all the way to 50, can i still use this profile ? I'm a Bounty Hunter and i left my class quest somewhere at level 20.

I started the profile on Makeb orbital station and nothing happens.

Yes, you can use it no matter what you have done with your class quests. When you fly to Makeb you should get a cutscreen and the very first quest automatically. If you do not have this quest then this could cause it to not work. It is possible for it to bug and not give the quest as I have seen it happen once. If you do have the quest and its still not moving then you need to give me a log so I can see if I can find anything wrong. Also are you clicking "ok" on the window that pops up when you start the profile? Rexfelis had a problem with that if you read the posts above.

First of all i want to say you how much i appreciate your work on this profile. It seems to be very tricky to get rid of all those buggy/tricky stuff/quests/mobs on Makeb.

My bot won't start on the Quest "Stealing Thunder" (im standing at the taxi npc on the isle where the quest is)

this still works ok like he said you will need to baby sit it as it gets stuck sometimes and some quests need completing by hand before you start make sure u use the bolster to help it worked great on imp agent

[E]Makeb 50-55 Questing



What does it do?
This profile does all Empire Makeb quests except for the 2 group quests. If you are a subscriber and keep up an xp boost, this profile should get you to at least level 54 and maybe the whole way to 55. I may add on later to make the profile do something else if not level 55 when its finished.



What doesn't it do?
This profile is not able to do all quests by itself and most likely never will. There are places throughout where you will need to help the bot to complete quests. Some examples are talking to npcs after having fought them and Isotope-5/The Archon fights. Those on top of other buddywing issues sadly may make you need to babysit.



What do you need to do?
You need to have your toon geared and set up as good as possible. You should also have an optimized routine that uses skills as you would if you are actually playing. The goal is to have your toon strong enough to not die. Dying is bad because if you are trying to run this afk, depending on where you die the bot might not be able to find its way back or buddywing might just stop after ressing. Most importantly if you are dying on a gold mob you need to kill then you will never progress and move on.



Known Issues:
Mobs with knockbacks can cause deaths in the area that has the cat walk and the area with all the lava.
Killing quest npcs and then talking to them
Cat walk area's mesh can cause problems. I've done some special stuff so that the bot can find its way around but the bot will not find its way back if you die.
Hover Tank is a big mob with collision and cannot be looted by anyone or killed by melee. Buddywing will also try to path through the tanks(maybe meshing them can fix these issues?)
Melee may have problems with big mobs due to their hitbox
Buddywing may hang at "waiting on taxi" after taking a taxi resulting in the bot running off in a random direction(maybe falling to their death over and over).


Bugs:
Try to provide as much info as possible and include a log. Keep in mind though that I can only fix problems caused by the profile. I can do nothing for problems caused by the nav server/Buddywing.
