Durid - Quick, Simple, Fast Feral CC

Im using this for PVE and generally its a beast. I know Apoc is not supporting this thread and i have read through all the other threads to search for an answere to this question however i have not found it yet so.

1. How can i stop the CC from circling the target(im sure its great for PVP however its not so great for lvling being it just jumps around the mob and generally dies.

2. I would like it to not charge but pull with cast faerie fire and then cast Moonfire then jump into cat formation and fight. I have noticed it likes to charge and get 5 mobs on it at one time and die.

If someone has any ideas on how to fix this that would be awsome. Apoc if you feel like doing that, i think it could be specifically a PVE cc. Maybe with the always in cat form taken off as well)

The bolded part definitely needs to be fixed. Then it could be considered PVE stable.
 
agreed, would be prefered if when it pulled mobs it dosnt charge in the middle often getting multiple adds. Thats why I would like to see that changed.

Your issue can be resolved by swapping profiles to one without many adds. The circling issue actually prevents it from working great in PvE.
 
well generally bots look less like bots when they dont run in and charge everywhere. This makes magic caster bots look more normal because they are pulling the mobs to them. Often when bots run at mobs it will get stuck on something the mob is sitting around table giant obsticle of whatever. even if its only for a second it dosnt look natural however if you were in the case of a druid able to pull using moonfire and fareir fire(sp) and jump into cat form it might not look like a bot in thos instances. Would also reduce the multiple adds. Its what i would prefer the CC to do.
 
Also i have noticed that this CC likes to cast Regrowth at about 80% is there a way i can change this because sometimes with two mobs it will just sit there and cast regen then jump into cat form and take a swing or two then jump back into regrowth... im lvl 48
 
Im guessing this is due to them messing up healing touch?? and only having it for higher lvls??
 
If anyone has some suggested healing changes in the code, let us know :)
 
I was getting a bit annoyed with this CC when I was grinding since it uses Rip and the combo point stun when the mobs were on like 10% hp so I tweaked it just a tiny bit to do grinding a bit smoother. (Just casts FB whenever you have 4-5 combo points)

I also removed Shred and Claw from the spell list since theres never any use for them while grinding, and atleast for me it was spamming Shred way to much to be efficiant.

While grinding in outland using the original Durid CC I got around 105k exp/h and with my tweaked version around 125k exp/h so if your planning to do nothing but questin/grinding/archeology this is slightly better option. I will try later on to fix the spin problem, but since I'm no genious when it comes to scripting I'm not sure I will be successful ;>

EDIT: Ok I think I've been successful in removing MOST of the spinning bug, it still occurs in odd situations but thats when the mobs are running in from a wierd angle and generally it only spins for one or two laps before assuming a normal attacking posture. This however comes at a cost. I'm fairly sure that the script will now NOT go behind the target in PvP, so if you download my version of this script its primarely for PvE.

For this to work just download the original version of the Durid CC then download my files and replace the original files when it promts you to. The changes are very minor so no creds to me, creds to Apoc.

EDIT2: For you scirpters out there. Yes, I know I've only changed and removed portions of this script to get the results I want. I have no idea if the script "looks" bad now since I dont have any real script experience. The main thing is though, that it works, and works quite well if I can say so myself:) What I'm trying to say is that any feedback I get will be in vain, since my comprehension of scripting is to poor to know what you are talking about since I'm just a copy/paste/edit type of guy ;>

er...

Im still not following howto get this to work? Ive installed multiple CCs before, but the only thing that download had to extract was a Properties/Assemblyinfo.cs file.


What the hell am i gonna do with that? o.O

Dunno if this is an issue with HB + GB2 or the CC, but when I am herbing in Vashir it just goes Aquatic Form automatically and won't use my Abyssal Seahorse.

From what I understand druid aquatic form is as fast as the seahorse so it is used on purpose.

Links did not work for me, I went to a page that said "File not found. It has been either deleted, or it never existed at all"
 
Is there a way to stop HB from using the mount when dismounting? It's really pointless instead of shifting directly into cat form.
 
Please need advice from coder it keeps trying to cast skull bash bear... !!! its a nice lil cat CC but it really needs that fixed! anyone worked out how to fix it ?
 
Yeah this is a VERY good CC as far as pvp goes. I was using it today and in my 2nd BG i finished first in overall rankings. I do have good pvp gear though but still that alone impressed me. I know that your not going to support it as far as requests go and all but the ability for it to use Ravenge after charge would make it INSANELY good. Over all very nice though. I am glad to see that there is finally a CC for feral that can play more like a person actually would. Seems like all of the classes get ignored for pvp. I am changing my major this summer so hopefully i will be able to give a shot at making some CCs myself. Thanks again for the work though.
