Hi is there a guide on how to make DungoneBuddy profiles.

Or a tool/plugin like zap recorder where I would be able to record where I went and what I pulled.

Hi, Chestnut817,

DungeonBuddy requires not only a profile (which largely just defines objectives, and not how to do them), but it also requires a C# file that handles each encounter in a particular dungeon.

So "no", there is no tool that automates the writing of DungeonBuddy profiles, AND you must be able to code in C# to make them.

cheers,

ok Thanks for the reply.

unless you might be talking about a dungeon grind profile, where mechanics dont really matter. then i think a QO profile would work just fine.

record your hotspots with ZapRecorder, fill out the rest of the tags with faction id's, mobs to avoid, mailboxes, vendors.

find the code to enter, exit, and reset the instance.

add a flyto tag to get to the instance in question.

and you have built a profile to farm and instance, much like the 100 or so easily found here on the forums.

shortcut, take an existing profile and just change the hotspots for variation. might work for an existing dungeonbuddy profile if you just wanted a little variation in the pathing between encounters.
