I been playing bg all morning with combat bot and I see alot of people complaining and reporting others for being bots just by how they are stupid like and how they take same routes and move. Keep yourself safe.

Yeah for some reason people dislike botters, I've noticed as well.

I guess we better all go turn off our bots then. Thanks everyone it was great while it lasted...

You are fine in other ways but in bg it runs the same course. does the same thing and has no common sense. I use to use in AV and at the boss you could tell all the bots ran up to the door stood in one big pile. Then turn around and all leave at the same time. Thats when i said screw botting bgs. But combat bot makes it easy just not afk.

lol this happens every bg, unless 99% are bots then nobody talks.

there is always that 1 guy that always talk and complain about the bots

Yeah he's weird that one guy, he should join us instead of complaining!

The reason people complain is because usually whatever team has more bots on it will lose. Not that that's ever stopped me lolz

I tried to get info on when this will be addressed but it was ignored.

The problem is the foundation isn't really solid enough to build a "better" product on. I've considered writing a new BotBase for the BattleGrounds, but there is just too much "strangeness" in the foundation. The navigation is pretty bad, and even when it tries to "randomize" the path, you just end up doing something silly or taking some odd path that makes it pretty obvious you're a bot, even to the untrained eye. The company just grew too fast, too many products, and too many fears/concerns about their legal situation. The effort and motivation just isn't there anymore, and that's the pain you're feeling. Regardless of what they tell you, the proof is in the pudding. Apoc built a far better BattleGround but years ago for another product ... it worked far better than the current BGBuddy ... granted it did not support as many BattleGrounds, but man it was awesome.

Just makes me wonder where Apoc has gone ... if he were solely focused on some of these issues, they'd be gone. I just don't think he can carry the entire company, and it feels like the remainder of the developers just aren't nearly as skilled at producing high quality code with real human-like interaction/behavior.

I could be wrong ... but the fact their BattleGround product has never been very good or intelligent sorta tells the story.

isnot just a BGBOT

OB also got prob like one of the biggest ban waves in blizz history

in my opinion bg buddy must be removed ! its too risky. if you play by hand, you'll play against/with bots too and it sucks.

When Blizzard ban you do they ban whole accounts or just characters?

Also for how long?

That's not the point. The ISX software detection ban which killed OB is completely unrelated to this topic ... which is a battleground bot with more intelligence ... but surely you knew that.
