tony headsup we love honorbuddy so damn much hope you understand us and you guys are hard under attack and we know it and every one know this bot is the king of all bots out there keep the good work up ;) then i pay for anthoer lifetime seasion

waiting your suggestions as well then

I have no technical suggestions for you to protect your environment. I don't have enough information about your infrastructure to comment on your exposure, but you do appear to be an interesting target. These attacks happen - the only thing you can do is limit your risk.

My /agree was more with the level of customer service. When people suggest anything negative towards to product or development process - there tends to be a defensive reaction instead of a desire to remedy. It's not a level of service that would survive if you had competitors. You don't have real competitors though - and you have a great product - so weak customer service skills is something we live with. Don't take it personally - that's just my opinion. Others may disagree.

^^ Xeroes - There are literally HUNDREDS of bots out there. If you're not happy with this one, don't put up with it. Go elsewhere.

If you don't know what they are, I suggest you improve your google skills.

Gee this program was getting infected for like 2 years or more it was

I be contacting your host provider as well and telling them they are getting hacked so they can fix the exploit how they get into the server if it is hosted on one of your pcs then that is a huge problem

As for the dev team

What I suggest is this

Setup a computer that is not even connected to the net and burn the updated bot to a cd disk you then know it is not that system at all

You could also look into a program to compress the .exe like pgp and make a key so people can then verifies the compressed file that is uploaded I am sure there is some sort of program that will give protection

For those that have reading comprehension problems - let me restate using smaller words.

I'm happy with the product.

I think the customer service department is lacking.

There are no other bots that compare in quality/safety like Honorbuddy.

But hey - I'm not going to just restate the obvious - I'm also going to be helpful! Here is a link to an article that may help you in your life journey.

I'm not satisfied with the informing of your customers of these problems and I don't think everyone else is either.

starting to think maybe hb is getting paid for this infection.....i mean, hackers getting hacked every 3 months.. doesnt add up.

Sooooo.You kinda saying it's safe to update:confused:

Well it's up too you, I won't take responsibility.
Maybe my anti-virus took care of it? I dont know, all im saying is I checked for this file and i dont have it

No, no it's not. I cannot believe how you guys behave toward your customers. You have infected them several times, the fact you guys even call your releases "safe" is hilarious. Each and every time, a community member needs to come here to tell YOU that your software is infected, and at times it even takes several attempts because threads are just closed with "nah we safe"

Seriously, you were compromised, a compromised build was delivered through your update server, this is not just a "simple" task, the fact you guys can continue to get compromised is just so damn sad.
Obviously you don't understand networking at all, everyone THAT is connected to the "Internet" is at risk of being compromised at any given moment given the right person with the right skills.

Obviously, you don't understand networking at all. I could sit here and "try" to auth on honorbuddy with a fake key for 50 years, and i still would fail, why? Because access is only granted to keys stored in DB. I would then require access to said DB. Which should be protected by unique encrypted keys given to each dev. Hell, you could even whitelist access to IPs or domains, but of course, you aren't a dev and you don't work in this field, so you wouldn't know, you just felt like poking me because, sure, why not right?

It is obviously not impossible for them to be compromised, but it should be impossible for BINARY to be released WHILE INFECTED. Because said binary should be tested, scanned and analysed before being deployed on a system which has been compromised 4 times already.

I don't know what system they use, or how they protect their stuff. But it baffles me how they can be comrpomised this many times, and how it always ends in the hands of the users. And it definatly don't help with the devs being silent about all of it

how come none of you nerds can explain what amdex does, why is it honorbuddy.exe is gone and no virus scanner found any infected files.. did it get passwords and delete itself.. wtf is going on
