DongeonBuddy AFKable???

Hi, For several weeks, I try to find profiles for dongeonbuddy where I am able to run AFK. I am unable to find.
There is always have the problem in the profile: No exit location, the bot bug at some place and it turns into cercle or the bot stands just ahead and he is not able to cross the portal. :(

1. someone can run dongeonbuddy mostly AFK???
2. someone has experienced this bug and have a solution??

You don't need any profiles for DungeonBuddy? you just gotta go to Bot config. and set if you want it to do randoms or farm specifics.. And yes, i would say that its 90% AFKable if you are DPS or healer, but don't run it with a tank.
 
i ran 50 % afk ... i never run dungeonbuddy when im at work or so
 
OP: You will have to provide a log file of where you've experienced bugs or we cannot help you.

DungeonBuddy is a pre-configured setup that ships with HonorBuddy. Profile scripts, which control bot interaction/movement/pathing within each instance may be found here:

Your question cannot be answered as it is very unspecific about which instance you're referring to, as is it unknown any issues (computer, connection, game client, game addons, plugins, routine, etc) that could, potentially, be hindering expected bot methodology.
 
Problem #1: Bot: Dongeonbuddy
Instance: Utgarde Keep
Group: 3 RAF Account (1 tank, 1 Dps, 1 healer)
Log file available: No log file
Computer and connection: All goods
Problem Desciption: When the group run out dongeon the tank do cicle at <Hotspot X="371.369" Y="-42.67774" Z="24.03001" />.

Please dont ask me join log because this problem cause NO LOG!!!
Any suggestion is welcome.

How are you guys running AFK? It seems like after the instance is done it does not requeue for another 1. Am I missing something?
 
A few things
  • AFK Tanking, as a bot, outside of a full group is very dangerous and not suggested with DungeoBuddy
  • Have you configured the tank as a leader with the other 2 bots named within followers?
  • Have you configured the followers as followers with the tank as leader?
  • Set port out on ghost sighting to false
  • Set teleport out for repairs to false

The group shouldn't "run out" of the dungeon ... when it ends, they should all teleport out/leave queue and re-enter it.

TYVM for this. Only thing I couldnt find was teleport out for repairs. Is the wording different or am I just missing it?
 
And it worked!!! TYVM Mellome!! I was manually entering every damn instance. lol
 
Problem #2:
Bot: Dongeonbuddy
Instance: Azjol-nerub
Group: 1 Account (1 Dps)

Computer and connection: All goods
Problem Desciption: When I start the dongeonbuddy this window message appears: The current dongeon script has no exit location. Please report to the developer


Edit: SOLVED
For other member with the same problem just get the coords for exiting the dongeon by portal and put this in the dongeon scripts folder.

EX. It's the part of script need to be changed.....

public override WoWPoint Entrance { get { return new WoWPoint(1235.027, -4860.007, 41.24839); } }

public override WoWPoint ExitLocation { get { return new WoWPoint(144.4507, -88.97738, 12.55168); } } This part is not existing in the script just add it manually with the exiting portal coords (144.4507, -88.97738, 12.55168).
 
@ Mellome : I see port out to sell and buy but not for repair. It is inside instance repair %??

- Why is very dangerous? No other player can see you run like a bot you're alone....
- Yes, The tank is leader of group and configured as a leader in bot config
- Yes, The followers is configured as follower in bot config
- Yes, I've Set port out on ghost sighting FALSE
- Set teleport out for repairs to FALSE ----- Dont find this option in bot config, so I had configured;
- Inside Instance repair % to 0
- Outside Instance repair % to 0
- Outside Instance sell % to 0
- Port out to Buy to FALSE
- Port out to sell to FALSE
- The group CAN '' Run out''. This instance cause problem so other one run good. I CANT teleport out or leave groupe because im not in LF dongeon group.

SAME PROBLEM!!!!!

  • I meant leave to buy/sell
  • You'll want to set your outside repair back to what it was
    The point is not to repair while in the instance, when the group completes each instance and de-zones it will automatically repair
  • It is dangerous to use as tank when you aren't in a full group by yourself
    ie. not with 5 bots in instances, and not with 3 bots in scenarios.
    if you ARE a full group - it is perfectly fine
  • Some instances do not have exits because they are configured for LFG
 
Didn't pay that much attention in the end, but here is what I've observed so far.

5man Paladin team:

AFKable:
Shadowfang Keep: Ok. Minor issue with the door before last boss, but can be AFKed. Think there are missing a wait timer.
Stockade: Ok. Keep the healer close.
Gnomeregan: Ok
SM Graveyard/Cath: Ok
Mara - The Wicked Grotto: Ok
Mara - Earth Song Falls: Ok
Uldaman: Ok
The Blood Furnace: Ok. Party will die on the 2nd boss because they do not move out of the poison cloud. After that, no issues.
Hellfire Ramparts: Ok. Does not loot the chest at the last boss though.


Not AFKable:
Black Fantom Depths: Keep an eye. Followers has an issue diving in the water with the leader. After that, no issues.
Razorfen Downs: Keep an eye. Melee DPS have a litle trouble reaching the skeleton boss and might get stuck.
