I did full questing act 1-5, nephalem rift, trials, grifts, leveled gems to 30+ all AFK. Yes it works well if you keep the plugins and profiles up to date, clear the proper folders every so often, know how to configure it for what you're doing. I don't know if there's much that needs updating.

+% XP on items is "bugged" in greater rifts, it works multiplicative instead of additive. There are some builds out there that can pull off 50b xp/h.

Blizzard confirmed it's intended. Chuck on that Leoric's Crown and Hellfire ring and enjoy the free Paragon's.
