Does HB work with Bartender?

I all but have to use bartender. I play on a surround set up and if i dont modify my action bars, several buttons are blocked by my bezels. This is ignoring the fact that i like many prefer a custom layout mirroring my keybinds etc.

Anyhow, i remember reading about issues looong ago before i had any use for bartender and was curious if they'd been resolved over the years? I had it downloaded for awhile, and enabled it along with several other addons that were sitting/waiting for when i had time to configure them. Immediately following I noticed an error/warning in the HB console and I didnt hang around to find out if it was going to cause problems or of which variety. I disabled it right away.

I obviously want to re enable it asap and be able to use it (i play manually much more often than I use HB) but if its not possible, its not possible. However I was under the impression HB didnt use keypresses persay, but a type of injection? Which is why i can have empty action bars yet my abilities still work.

So why does bartender affect it? Is the warning superficial? Am i screwged?

Just looking for some info.

I always use bartender with or without HB and in my case I have no problems at all.

Bartender has caused a few issues while questing for me, but not consistently, and primarily involving on-use quest items. If you are using HB with Enyo to raid or to farm you can use bartender without worry, but when I level a toon via questing I always use stock UI.
