Does GB work for Cata?

I assume that GB has already been upgraded... it simply hasn't been released yet.
I pretty sure GB staff knows how much money is to be made the first couple of days in a new expansion.
Boss most likely has 100+ bots farming in cata as we speak, making 1000's of gold...

I've noticed that most other bots (including free ones) have updated themselves for Cataclysm. I don't know why it is taking so long for GatherBuddy. The only thing that needs to be changed is for GatherBuddy to recognize the new nodes. For some other bots, this was simple as editing a notepad file. I'm fine with waiting a bit longer though. I just think that this should receive more attention as many of us here are anxious to get in on the Cataclysm gold rush.

Accusing the dev team of slacking when it comes to cata is one thing, but the bossland conspiracies are pretty epic. The creators of the free bots as well as the paid bots that many speak of are probably not as concerned with warden protection as the buddy team. When the buddy devs say this is the safer bot I dont think its bullshit, and as such it makes sense that it would take a bit longer to get released than other bots.

No, im not a fanboy. But there is a reason I go with buddy products and not other bots that may even offer better functionality or even features. Its because the devs seem dedicated to providing the best protection possible as well a community based project. and lets face it Lazybot is convinient when GB is down but I sure as shit would not use it on a regular basis.

I dont see why everyone is getting so anxious and impatient. GOD FORBID WE HAVE TO WAIT A DAY OR 2 So that GB Works like everyone expects it to.

Its just like a new patch, things must be updated, if you dont like it **** off and make ur own bot.

As for myself, i am patient. i know when it comes out, we will all make alot of gold but until then farm by hand, the spawn rates are high, and mining is easy as shit.

i am here to give you the status of the update procedure, i have already done it and i will keep doing it(if or when this will be necessary)
if you dont like it i cant do something about it

on this thread i can see people that they respect our developer's work and they are patient
and i can see also people that they are trying to make conspiracy theories

I can't imagine adding some items to the database affects security.
