Does GB work for Cata?

Day one is over?

It just doesn't pick up the NEW TYPES OF HERBS. There are still all the old types (pre-cata) that it does pick up. So technically, it does still work.

Well farming the old stuff is worthless right now...The only thing remotely worth farming in Northrend is saronite ore(xp gains and 12.5g per stack if you smelt the bars) so you make a few 100g an hour. If GB was up we would be making anywhere between 2-5k/hour with the current herb/ore prices.

Its works but the thread is titled "Does GB work for Cata?". Does GB work in the Cataclysm zones? No it does not bc it flies over all the ore/herbs and does not pick them up, it flies right but it does not do what it is supposed to do in Cata zones.
 
it's great how people say they will make 2k gold an hour or so, when the fact is that there will be 100's of people doing it by hand. Doing it by hand will always beat a bot as you have quicker responses and also it will be over populated. So all of you whining about it, really not worth it at all.

Well maybe I am lucky. But I am using another bot and am getting obsidian nodes and cinderbloom uncontested in hyjal atm. No one is jacking down in front of me and stealing a node. Hasn't happened yet....And if you check you AH to make 2k an hour all you need atm is 2 stacks of cinderbloom(at least on my server).

that is exact the thing i am doing right now with 12 of my toons... at least they can skill farming and gaining some experience...
with that crap gear it is better not to farm for me in the new zones.. i think i will wait until they hit lvl82 or 83 and then switch to the new zones...
and then there will be also some good public profiles i think..

cool story bro. didn't get that from the other 5 pages. and the fact that i said it myself a couple of times. gb does work for cata. just not all the zones. you know that the cata happened in all the zones, right?
 
The beta have been up for ages. Is just plain stupid that the database is not up to date on the releasedate of Cata. Like you did not know the names weeks ago.....

I'm sure 80-90% of Gb users are people who farm gold for cash in larger scale.
And yes we want to bot now! And this bot is 100% not working as 80-90% of its users expect it to work. It is like a browser that is unable to open 90% of all websites.

It's not like that the problem was unforseeable or no bot is working at all.
I usually don't like to complain but this time I think it's my right as paying customer to pass constructive criticism on the whole thing.
If the problem was that hard to fix not almost any other bot on the web would be working right now and it's not about securitiy or such...It's just adding something small to the bot.
Then they said Hawker is adding something more complicated to the bot now...I am asking myself why we can't have a release with updated database and get another release as soon as the underwater stuff and such is done...I really can't see any reason against it.
There is absolutely no point in doing all these updates to Gb now and not making a release with updated database. ( If there is one you're welcome to tell it to me Tony)

Sorry for that but I am really annoyed because after 4.0 all other boters I know were able to bot days before I was able to and now again they all talk about how much gold they get now and such...and I'm just able to sit around thinking about how much gold I loose.
I really appreciate the work that has been and is put in this bot and usually I'm 100% satisifed with it but this time I think there's a mistake on your side and as a paying customer I have the right to inform you about it.
Give me a release with updated database (which is not difficult as you can see on almost any other bot) and I will be completetly satisfied.

Which bot would that be?
 
I assume that GB has already been upgraded... it simply hasn't been released yet.
I pretty sure GB staff knows how much money is to be made the first couple of days in a new expansion.
Boss most likely has 100+ bots farming in cata as we speak, making 1000's of gold...

Do you really think they would rather share that money with you ? Don't be naive.
