Does GB work for Cata?

Can we get a temp release without that, vasjir is crap to farm anyway and these first few days are crucial since material prices are at 3000% of their normal prices.
I was really hoping you'd have this sorted already. Get it together...

Ugh I am forced to use pirox atm to farm herbs/ore...prices are ridiculous on my server 1000g per stack of cinderblooM!

pirox's gathering is very UNSMOOTH. A lot of farmers will get raped by the mobs too, good thing i have full wrathful gear almost on all my bots. I saw 3 farmers get taken out at on cinderbloom node lol. Greens won't cut it.
 
on topic: if it can't gather nodes in cata, then it's not working. nuff said.

I disagree. It's working save for 5 zones in the entire game, so I'd say that for the large majority of the world, it works.

That being said, it's a shame that it doesn't work for 80+ zones, as I thought some devs having beta access would have foreseen this issue.

Check your auction house and see why so many people are twisting their panties in a bunch. You probably will too. The new mats are going for insane amounts! Can't wait for GB to be back up!

Gatherbuddy isn't Honorbuddy. Gatherbuddy is mostly used by farmers on a mass scale. What good is it if it's limited to outdated mats that no one is going to buy?
 
I just sold two handfarmed stacks of obsidium ore for 600g...

Cant wait to see GB running :D

Fair enough. Yes, I agree it would be nice to have GB, and reiterate I think there should have been better planning to allow it to function day one.
