Does Blizz ban the accounts you DONT bot on?

Sincere apologies if this is the wrong place to ask but, in the event you have multiple accounts, say a bot and a main on different battlenet accounts, does blizz tend to ban the account you DONT bot on when they ban the one you do?

they "can" but its very rare. normally unless you are involved in gold selling they only ban the account of which was caught.

Also keep in mind:

if you're fool enough to transfer all your gold & items around then that possibility increases..

super apologize again if this is the wrong place to ask this but hmm how do i put this, anyone got any good suggestions on ways to "launder" botted gold? Naturally i dont mean to post here but rather pm me i guess, again sorry if this is the wrong place for such a request, im new to the forums

yes they do. They started to ban the whole guilds recently. I lost some inactive accs (botted, but long time ago, should be safe!) and my appeals were denied

Only accounts that have been confirmed as botting/gold selling or receiving will be banned. They no longer ban by IP.

I'd be careful; if you want to transfer gold and items between accounts especially when one is a bot and the other is safe; if your bot account you think is "hot" or could get banned soon use a guild bank as a conduit. Bot acc puts it into the g bank; character on main acc pulls out. Blizzard hasn't seemed to really care about this for a long time (as long as its not gold selling related)

Yep it's all risky. Simple thing is if you don't want to lose an account don't have it connected in anyway to a bot account.

That being said I transfer it to my main account through the AH lol but I don't sell it.

They can ban by relations, if you sending/trading gold to non botting account, or its member of your gold store/sale guild. They can investigate and ban this acc aswell.

Exactly this. If I were your roommate, I wouldn't feel good about you botting on the same IP. In the end, Blizz can do whatever shit they come up with.

That being said, danger is related mostly to manual investigations; if you are single botting , that would make it harder for them to stablish a relation between accounts.

This is completely wrong, unfortunately. There are more than a few confirmed cases around.

They DO use IP info to relate accounts, and under certain circumstances, will act on all accounts on the same IP, no matter if they are botting or gold selling related.

There is plenty of info around; you'll probably get a much better grasp of the situation using a few hours to read this forum than expecting answers here to solve it for you.
