I know this used to be organized sometimes in d2 at d2jsp and I used to love playing. I actually only signed up to ask.

If anyone in this community does play how do they gurentee payment? If anyone is interested send me a pm.

EDIT: Well I have had a couple of pm's so I am sure there is some interest!

I guess there are some questions before we proceed:

1: Would any active and well trusted members (I am new so that's up for the community to decide) be interested in holding the gold?
2: Is this against any forum rules?
3: What website would be good to use? Hopefully something that you don't need to install a client. Maybe pogo.com? This would just make it easier for people I think.
4: All bets should be agreed upon in PM's so that if someone backs out they can at least prove it. I don't expect any mod's to do this and I am sure this won't be officially supported.

Assuming we can agree on a site and such I would love to play Texas Hold'em.

Keep the pm's coming! A nice large game with 5-20 people with a 1-50 mil buy-in would be awesome:)

I am thinking we could make a permanent thread with an active Scammer / safe moderator list. I am not saying people will cheat, but they always did at d2jsp. Maybe we could organize weekly games or something? I think this would be a lot of fun.
 
I'm all in for that. I'd say its better for 6 or 9 ppl tournaments, easier gold management
 
Well If anyone is up for a game and knows a free site I would play heads up or group anytime today!

Whats about Pokerstars.com? There you can organize "Homegames" with private tournaments. The registration is free...

I tried out some browser sites and none of them are that good. So I guess a downloadable program that is trusted would be best. It's Night time here but Tommorow I will write up some rules, post a new post and set a date:) As far as honesty with the gold goes, I don't really know this community that well but if someone can suggest an active member to hold it that can be vouched for? I am sure as we play a few games people will gain trust with certain members.
