Does anyone know how often Routines get you banned?

Wanted to use free or even buy some PvP/PvE routines, but wanted to know the ban rates if they are high-low.

I can't even fathom how anyone would figure out you are using a combat routine if you are controlling the character's movement yourself. I have used combat routines and hand movement on all my toons on my main account ever since I got this bot years ago and have never got so much as a warning or even a look of suspicion from other players.

Instant interupts. Wasnt that hard, was it?
 
A CR would have a miniscule chance of getting you banned, hell, I doubt you would even get one if you are using something like Enyo to do manual controlling.
 
well there are some signs from which other players could tell you are up to no good.. so it would only be player reports..
 
Well, I can see straight away someone is using Combat Routine... It is not that hard if you are also a user of one. :)
 
Between 4-7, routines only get you banned if you spam like shadow word pain only and even then its highly unlikely but ye between 4-7.
 
I'm assuming you're using a profile to farm BGs for you or something in combination with a routine. If you are then I think the chance of being caught is about the same across all routines. I've never had any problems / concerns when using TuanHA's routines though so I would recommend checking those. TuanHA has routines for each class as far as I know.

If you're using a routine but manually moving your character / playing the rest (not sure why anyone would do this but saw it in a reply above) then the only thing I would be worried about is an auto interrupt portion of a routine. Check if there is a delay setting for auto interrupts. If there is add an arbitrary number to it like 1.XX seconds or better yet if there is a random delay for it then use that.

No they can't. atleast not with singular , things like cap totums for shamens are the tail tail sign for me.. God I hate that cap totum and how often it goes out.

Sometimes bugs that cause you to spam something like an idiot may point you out to those who would report you or if Blizzard were to be watching for some reason. An example would be Weischbier's DK CR spamming Blood Tap, though there haven't been bans that I know of being caused by this I can see how it COULD cause one. Other than this kind of thing I don't see how anyone could ever catch on. Also don't type while you're in a fight and the CR is going at full blast?

Blizzard: You have been banned for only using one button.

Me: Huh, I was just being lazy and set one skill to my mouse button. How on earth is terrible playing a bannable offense?

I really doubt most players would notice instant interrupts except possibly (and still rarely) when used too consistently and accurately against them in PvP, never PvE. As with anything botting though, NOTHING is 100% safe (heck, you can even get banned for botting when you don't), but combat routines by themselves are extremely unlikely to get you banned, and I have never heard of such before except in some hardcore competitive play.

Instant interrupts were getting a lot of people banned in dungeons/raids and was fixed by those timed interrupts we have going now. Though your argument for spamming a button may hold out it may not. I mentioned it because it is a possibility. Better to have considered all the possibilities than to have not. Besides, your toon jerks around when Blood Tap is spammed and it does raise a question or 2. You may not be banned for botting but you might for being bad, which would still be a ban. You ARE right though, PVE bans are a rare sight. There's an obvious reason why.
 
Put all the skills in the action bar.

If you do get banned they will see you have no skills on the action bar that you used, and the only way to summon those skills are through injection.

So I suggest you include those skills either as a button or in a macro on your toolbars.

This tip was given to me by an insider.
 
I am currently using the BGbuddy with TuanHA routine and spamming random bgs for honor gear. How risky is this compared to controlling the movement myself with a combat routine?

- i have been farming bgs myself most of the day but need a break but don't want downtime, so the time spent botting is rather low.

Any time spent using BGbuddy is risky as there are so many people using it. I'm sure if u were to watch it play within your first 1-3 BGs you'll see at least 1 or 2 other players running the exact same path through the BG as your toon. Even to someone who doesn't have a clue about botting or how they work it looks suspicious when 3 different characters from different realms are running pretty much on top of each other from the start of the BG.
Wouldn't advise running BGbuddy at all although I'm sure plenty of people use it and haven't been banned. At the end of the day if you're not prepared to take a ban on your account(which is always a risk no matter how high or how low when botting) then don't bot or use a different account.
Running TuanHA with say lazyraider or tyrael will be almost perfectly safe as long as you're controlling movement and you don't have like 10ms interrupts lol, human reaction time isn't instant so I'd set up a realistic minimum :P
