I highly doubt they would do it like that, there could be countless people called John Smith for example. It would be a dumb way to track people.

There are players out there that own many accounts, doesn't make them cheaters/botters. Before I started botting I multiboxed (supported by Blizzard) on 5 WoW accounts.

if you have 10 accs that doesnt make you a botter

but if you are a botter having 10 accounts,

got caught on 1, its much likely that you are botting on the other 9...

I have tried using the same exact name on all of my accounts and I have tried having accounts with all different information. It did not change the frequency of my bans what-so-ever.

Use your real name, I lost so many wow accounts because I made up names.. I had to come up with the most fucked up excuses

Glad u brought this up, i was using howard stern staff names (sal governale, howard stern, fred norris) but im done now, to time consuming and u have to write down Abunch of crap. Im just gonna use my real name from now on

so i was using on all my bots bnet accounts the same real name along with theh same secret question /answer and birthday and country and so on .. and well thus far 3/7 bots got banned...


even though i did it that way i was kinda scared they would track me down by earching for matching names

First i used fake names, until one of my accounts got locked and they wanted some photo identification... been using my real name, adress, ip and etc since... lost 5/16 accounts during this wave, i highly doubt they will ban you because of matching names...
