Do you think I'm safe?

Hey fellow buddies =]

Just wondering...

I bot about 4-6 hours a day on one account, is this likely to throw a red flag at my account or do you think I'm safe? I mostly just run GB2 to keep a little sack of gold in my pocket. I have only been botting for a few weeks now. I have 3 90s and I lvled them by hand and still play them a lot! I am getting a bit worried just because I do love my account and have been seeing lots of bans.. Is any botting super risky or is what I'm doing alright? Do some people just get lucky and others unlucky?

What I'm more concerned about is my brother bots about 8-12 hours a day on his own account from the same IP (He runs bg buddy, questing, GB2 and grindbot..) if our IP were to get blacklisted, would that be an instant ban for me?

Am I just being paranoid?

I do xD It's just WoW is my main game =] Been playing it for years! Only just recently stopped getting mad at botters and became one myself though xD lol

sure you safe im on a high pop server i bot 10 to 12 hours a day i let it rest for the night im doing it for over 10 months now on a few accounts i only questbot to make gold and arena botting and pve raid botting i never touch gatherbuddy or bgbuddy i do bg manually with hb i only touch gb for my profession thats all with my own profiles.

I'm exactly the same Mario27..Im just too scared to lose an account to Gatherbuddy or BGbuddy , but I'm really tempted to try Gatherbuudy just for the boost to my professions and all..no risky gold selling or anything just toon advancement with the mats I acquire...what are the communities thoughts on that ...is gatherbuddy just plain too dangerous?

i think most of the times it's pretty much about that.

but generally you should be aware that gatherbuddy definitely has one of the highest chances of a ban.

(personally, i haven't used gatherbuddy in weeks because of that)

I keep an eye on it every now and then though to make sure no one has whispered me or anything, how is it the most risky?

I've been botting for years with my main account, some times 24hr sessions, others 10ish (which is the most common), taking breaks etc and get back at it. Overall I think I've botted 1000's of hours without a single suspension... yet.

I've had the account since end of Vanilla and been very active since end of WoTLK.

Maybe I've only been lucky, hard to say. As long as you don't do something stupid like running into a wall for days or something along those lines I think the possibility to get banned is very unlikely. The most items I've had up for auction at one time was 7000. Cleaned out my bank tabs etc.

But then again, maybe I'm just lucky.

Thank you for that Makes me feel more at ease. I am pretty careful, only have up to 200 things on AH at one time, making sure the questing bot doesnt get stuck, watching for whispers when I'm gathering, etc. Doubt I'd ever do more than 10 hours max in one session o.o lol.

My Main got banned 2 Month ago, which was 7 years old... played it "legal" till Cata.. botted 2-4 hours a day with Pirox, and 4-8 hours in Panda with Honorbuddy... so it got baned perma... but i dont care about the loss....
if you care about your Main, do not bot on your Main
