If you bot BGs it's like you're calling Blizzard and telling them you're botting so they can ban you. If you've ever read these boards, you'd know that BGs are getting more and more dangerous to bot, even with pathing changes (if there ARE any pathing changes). I stopped botting BGs back in Wrath because of how many bots there were in those BGs.
Sadly, it seems as though Blizzard has caught on to how people bot for gathering as well. I've also seen many ban reports come in for people botting to mine/herb, so that's becoming dangerous as well. It's not something that HB can do anything about. It seems as though they may be watching for patterns in the gathering routes. Of course, I say all this with a tinfoil hat on, so take it however you want, but it seems that for anything with a public profile the ban rate is slowly going up as Blizzard gets smarter and smarter.
I've stopped using HB for anything except Tyrael and LazyRaider functions to control combat routines. I've also stopped using quest bot since the questing profiles are all public domain and can be picked up on as well. Luckily enough I only have to level four more toons to 90, from 85. After that, it's simply going to be a glorified version of PQR, and that makes me sad.

I didnt bot bg, i was the one of the people who always said stay out and plz fix bg pathing.
I do have to agree that the new bg pathing might be compromised in a way, since theres loads of bans lately.
But on the other hand it could have something to do with the new patch coming soon.
I do bg, but on lazyraider only, never bg buddy no more so this has nothing to do with the pathing or whatever.
Lost the account, just got email on reply. said after evaluation, stays perma... closed.
Sad to see main go, but i knew the risk. Cant pay for a new one, payed for months and months gametime with gold allr.
Maybe its better

people always say that afther a ban but you wil be back wow accounts arent expensive anyways like 35 37 euro just normal keys for full pack and no sor accounts but i got once or twice banned to own mistakes to dumb gold farming with gb and public profiles and also bg now that i dont do automaticly bg anymore if i do bg i use lazyraider and move self and with gb i make my own profiles publick profiles wil get u banned because to many people using the same route and its dumb 5 people flying in the same direction

The money that a account costs, is what i can spend a week. Hence why i was paying with gold for almost 8 months now.
And if you read again, i wasnt doing bgbuddy, i was doing lazyraider, playing by hand.
thats weird i never got banned for using lazyraider and hb

Even more weird is that i havnt been banned for anything else then making a char with a "wrong" name. Bowjob......
Got a 3 hour suspension on that.
I as playing the account myself while i dcd, didnt even got a wisper from a gm. If this would have been a report issue, at least
i would have xpcted 1. wisper from gm or 2. 24 - 36-72 hours. Not a perma ban. So my guess is that they know more.
Always said this couldnt be the case, but ever since bg pathing has been fixed, some peeps have been posting stuff about
blizzard "prolly" knowing bg paths and routs to farm now. I even said on that post, it must be bs... but i guess i was wrong.
There was no need, other then me botting on lazyraider, to ban me, still i got it
Trying to appeal via ticket now, will see.. if i get it back, wich i doubt, i wont bot no more. Now i see the value on the account.

Yer, i got it back then, but other then that,nothing happend, and i did got perma'd today. So .. i stay puzzled.
We will see what the ticket says in the morning, but from what ive read in the past, a perma will stay perma.
And then im done

I think blizzard is starting to use a simular system as they do with Diablo, they see that you are moving to the same coordinates over and over in a pattern and, i was banned for using gatherybuddy using my own very complex profiles for just a few hours a day.
Just throwing my two cents in here, as in my opinion something isn't quite right with the number of bans being reported lately especially from long time posters that have supposedly bottled for many months/years without issue.
Due to the number of bans and the people being banned, experienced botters as I see them, I have stopped botting completely until the dust settles. I only bot on a separate account, and seperate PC, that has no value to me other than its ability to throw my main acct a couple thousand gold now and then, but even still I feel that running the bot right now is like asking to be banned - so I will lay low and wait it out.

My friend c0ke has worked for blizzard for some time he was part of the original devolment for world of warcraft he was one of the best starcraft hackers back when it was the thing. I stay in contact
with him on a regular bases he warned me of a ban wave in coming so i froze my account for the time being i stopped botting rufly 2 1/2 weeks prior to this wave. I would
have said something but nobody would have believed me so here it is me chilling and not banned ]=-) and i botted bgs and everything else you can think of.

for everyone else check it out, this came from a multiboxing forum who dont BOT. So dont ever use BG Buddy.
They are testing a new system something too do with mesh pathing and what it will do is read how many people are using it at the same time in a BG or world. But if you have your own profile one they really cant see
