Do you think Blizzard actually monitors your online time?

I know there's the /played; but I was wondering if Blizzard actually payed attention to the amount of time that people are online to raise a flag if they're botting or not. I know there's no one to actually know for sure unless we have someone working for Blizzard. The reason I started thinking about it is I was talking with a couple of friends who also bot, none of them have been banned. Ever. We've all had multiple sessions of going non-stop botting for days, even weeks. Now it could be luck that we weren't caught but I think it's just that Blizzard doesn't monitor played time unless given reason to, if they do at all. Just that and botting on other games that makes me believe that most bans start off with a player report. If I'm wrong please tell me so, I'm pretty curious on what other people think about it.

Also, if they do, would they track how much time you've been on that day/week/month or would they do a session type thing?

There's probably an automated system that flags players that have been logged on and playing for over 24hours. GM's then most probably investigate each case, in the order of severity. However, with WoWs player base being as large as it is and considering that there are ACTUAL people who play for 24+ hours straight, it's hard to catch people.

I rekon they compile a "suspicious" list too based on how frequently people are flagged by the automated system.

This is just my guess tho, I actually have no idea.
