Your rogue CC is the only CC that will let me open up with Pick Pocket and singular has no option to choose which to open with so I still use your Rogue CC

Here's my 2 cents...

Singular = good for beginners who don't know how to customize their character and just want to push start

FPSWare = More advanced users who LOVE to have the option to customize their guys in the way THEY want them to work and this is where FPSWare CC's are far more superior. So yes, please keep making them!!!!

Soooooooo... 88% day yes. I guess it's going to happen then.lol

Currently away for the weekend, having a great time exploring a new city. But looking forward to being back home tonight. Back to work (on CCs) tomorrow.

as this project is clearly going ahead I'll need to determine what the next supported class needs to be.I'll have another poll up next week.

Typing on mobile phone, excuse spelling mistakes and non sensible wording. Lol

I agree with the posts above. Singular just works and that is its point of it. You load it and you have a reasonably high chance of it getting the job done. There's a reason people look for other CCs though - we want things that the default cannot nor should it be expected to do. I love being able to quickly and easily turn certain abilities off in certain situations or change the way certain abilities are used. I can't count the number of times I've been using Singular and asked myself why the hell is it doing that? Whereas many of your CCs look more natural and feel more natural and if they do something I don't like I can change it. I've seen some things that your past CCs are capable of which made me think holy crap it's playing better than I do!

I also agree that Fpsware Unity should be for the advanced users. The people looking to tweak their CC down to little details to achieve the maximum dps or even just be able to turn certain things off while farming. As an example when I'm farming level 20 creatures for something I want to be able to change the pull action to something that makes sense. There's no need to debuff or dot them... they will die in one hit. I would also love to see some more pvp presents built in. It would be amazing to see racials used.

As I mentioned before let me know if you need any help with testing anything. I just donated to help motivate you and I hope others do too! (paypal donation link in his profile)

P.S. You're awesome!

Ok.... to try and answer some of the comments, questions and suggestions.....

I will be maintaining my UI look and feel. All of my 'Unity Complete' CCs will have the same fully customisable UI you've become used to. To clarify 'Unity Complete' is the term I'm giving to FULL CC inside Unity, capable of the following: Grinding/Questing, supporting all 3 specs, customisable DPS rotation.... pretty much exactly what you have come to expect from my normal CCs. Those CC I'm not calling 'Unity Complete' will simply be fillers until I release a full CC. Those fillers will simply 'do the job' without any customisation.

I have thought about creating a framework / base for others to contrubute to such as Singular, but that kind of defeats what I am trying to achieve by releasing this product. I am not saying others will not meet my 'standards', I'm trying to say (in a polite way) that I believe my CCs should work and feel a very specific way and opening up a framekwork / base to the public would be counter productive when keening my goal in mind.

As has been standard with my last few CCs I will distribute a number of preconfigured templates allowing you to quickly setup a new character mot fitting to your needs. Users will be able to share these templates with each other. I thinking about this a bit more I may expand significantly on this feature as I can see it become very popular.

Anyway.... I've been driving for ~6 hours (Dunedin to Christchurch) and I'm off to bed.

Thank you so much. Every cent really does help. It all goes directly to my development accounts - and the occasional "development" bottle of wine :p

Just a wee update...

Development is going well. I'm spending a lot of time working on the framework, if the foundation is not right then each class will not work as intended.

The beta testing on the Priest is still underway and working well.

Thanks for the update, I look forward to seeing this project develop. Singular is a really nice starter CC, and I be a really nice alternative for people who like to tweak. I am willing to Beta test most classes at max level, and quite a few classes at varying stages of levelling.

P.S. I am chomping at the bit for a Warlock CC, you even teased us saying you knocked it up already...

:)

They are coming along well. So far I have questing capable support for the following classes: Warlock (3 spec), Druid (2 spec), Priest (2 spec), Mage (1 spec). At present only the priest has a fully working UI. I'm adding UI's shortly, but first I wanted to play with the logic for some different classes to make sure the base template was working as expected. The Druid (feral cat) and the Warlock (destruction) absolutely freaking own! I'll probably add another basic melee support class, Rogue or Paladin, just to make sure I'm happy with how the template is working for melee classes.

I've done no PVP testing yet, I'm only focusing on PVE and lazy raider (high output DPS, player controlled movement) as that is where I see the majority of use.

I am looking forward to seeing how you handle pets, obv the priest don't need much control but demo locks and bm hunter's really do.

Also have you got a viable solution on how to handle disengage? I know a few people have tried but I've yet to see a suitable disengage cc. (It's affected by hills, and can throw you much much further if it's going down-slope)

Afflic PvP/Demo farming is what my locks usually do, I'm super stoked to see that they are getting some love.

Disengage is a bit of a situational problem, if you are facing down hill and you disengage you don't go anywhere. If you are facing up hill and you disengage you can go a lot further than you expected. Like always, I'll add the option and let people choose if they want to use it.

What specifically do you want to do with pets, how do you see the current CCs lacking in pet management?

I'm strugling a little with the Afflication Warlock rotation, its simply not doing the DPS I would expect and I'm strugling to find the problem. My test Warlock (85) is [only] ilevel 360, Afflication is only doing ~8500 DPS, but in Destruction its doing ~11000. That is a significan difference between spec and I'm affraid its the rotation. But, regardless of the rotation (and which guide I use) I don't seem to break the 9k mark with Afflication spec.

Specifically with the Demo Lock, I'd love to see the Pet's Axe toss being used automatically, preferably on caster's who are not my target, then on mobs that are my target. PvP wise I'd like it to only be used to interrupt healers. Also with the same pet I'd like him to do his AoE when ever I use mine, even a second before I do. Especially in an AoE grinding situation, a Demo lock played by hand can rape hard. With Meta, Immo Aura and Rain, and pet's aoe, there's a large chunk of damage being output.

Bm Hunter's can pull with there pet, use there pet to break cc's and a heap of other stuff, i'd have to jump back onto my hunter to list everything I want to see from them here. From my (Outdated) hunter days, pet management was key to BM play style as CD management is to MM. SV is just blam blam, lock and load hunterism.

I'd also love to see an implementation of BM for Tanking. something i used to do a bit of was instance tanking with my beetle pet, and it's fun for extreme soloing. But I doubt you'll be able to do that :-(

Currently Warlock's Felguard Axe Toss and Felstorm abilities are used. I'm currently playing around with the use of pet abilities when the pet is loosing aggro / playing is gaining aggro. I'm also adding other [Warlock] pet abilities as I come accross them, I'll add Hunter's pet abilities when I spent more time working on the class.

Warlok UI.webp

I also call it the suicide feature :) You'll have watching it in action - until you end up at the graveyard :p
