Do GM's test you if your suspected of botting?

So about 15 minutes ago while I was running one of Kick's profiles that I have previously ran on one other toon in the Krasarang Wilds, my toon's health and focus dropped to 0% but I did not die and as the bot was trying to turn in a quest it would not allow me stating "You can't perform that action while you are dead." or something along those lines. So my question is, if suspected of botting would a GM actually throw some funky stuff at you to see how your character reacts? I had to relog to remedy the error, but it seemed weird because this has never happened in the years I've been playing. Also I have continued the bot without any further errors of this kind.

i've only seen someone be teleported by a gm, i dont think what happened was a gm just merely a questing bug

I actually had the same thing happen in the Wilds on my first manual toon level up. I think it is a glitch in the game.
