Ditto found in Taiwan

I started playing again out of the blue and there was one right outside my work xD didnt even know about ditto

I have caught 5 ditto so far. They always appear when I least expect them

I have also caught 5. 2 of mine appeared out of zubats, and 1 each out of magicarp, pidgey and ratata. However, though they take on the same form and a higher CP than the defender when I use them to attack a gym, I find they do not last long at all. I therefore don't use them to take down gyms.

Actually, my best ditto is quite high CP (560) and IV above 80% and when I fought against a dragonite, it turned into a dragonite and did have a higher CP than that of the dragonite. Even then, it didn't last long at all. It got knocked out while the gym dragonite had about a third of its health left. I think I am quite good at fighting in gyms and can normally knock out 2 or 3 dragonites with just one of mine. Maybe it's something to do with its HP? I don't really understand these things.

When I was battling a Gyarados with My ditto, I noticed by Ditto-Gyarados was very slow trying to dodge the moves from the other pokemon. May be Dittos will be helpful for Gym Training. They have low CP

I am noticing these two things. Dittos are not as fast as original pokemons in regards to dodging attacks and Dittos die much quicker than original pokemons. Also, battling dittos left in gyms are very easy to defeat. I make the ditto first take the shape of weak fire pokemon, like a flareon, then I switch to a Vaporeon or SlowBro and I annihilate the poor ditto with water gun attacks. I'm not very impressed with this pokemon.

Try battling ditto with the same pokemon you started with. It is stronger than your pokemon!

No i meant it serious.

Maybe it was only me, but i had my ditto in the arena and attacked with a low lvl pidgey. Than i tried battling the pidgey with my own pidgey and got rekt.
