Is it essential that I run my bots on a different computer to avoid detection if my bot account got banned.

I want to keep my 5 good accounts COMPLETELY away from any wrong doing. They are greener than grass and I don't want to tarnish the good name that they have with Blizzard for never being involved in anything.

The problem is that I only have one computer, while it is powerful and can run multiple instances.. I don't know how I can run GB with security knowing that I can blame it on someone else if all else fails.

What would you recommend? I can't find any guides for this information.

Warden is per instance. So lets say you got GB on WoW 1, and run clean on WoW 2. Warden will only throw the hammer on WoW 1, since it only searches the address space that WoW 1 uses.

I got 2 copies of WoW on my PC, 1 for farming, 1 for legit play. Works fine here, gotten 1 72 hour suspension a few weeks back, my main is safe as ever.

bad info is bad.,

If you are running two copies of WoW, one bot and one main account - and you're botting with Honorbuddy and there is a software detection (meaning Warden found the bot, not a a player report) -- BOTH of your accounts will be flagged and banned. It's happened to me once, and I've heard of it happening to others.

If you really care about your main account - DONT use it while you're botting. Easy enough.

Sorry dear, not trying to be rude. But i honestly dont believe something thats first of all, a year old. Second of all, from someone that i dont even know who is.

Ill take the word of elites on MMowned over yours, sorry.

That's fine. I honestly don't care if you take my word or not. I wasn't directing my post to you when I posted in the first place, I was offering advice to the OP.
The thing that happens to be "first of all, a year old" was the very first Gatherbuddy ban wave, that happened on Sept. 4th 2009. I lost my main account and 2 farming accounts all simultaneously while raiding on my main. Lastly, what does knowing who I am have to do with anything? If I were someone coming to these forums to offer 100% provable and honest information you wouldn't trust it because you don't know me? Your loss.

Oh, if it was provable i would, no doubt. But your ban on the 4th isnt, i mean cmon. Can you prove your main was banned, NOT botted on at all, run from a different client?

Im waiting.

I can, in fact prove that he was banned. As far as not botted on, and different client that's where the "honest" part comes in. That's all..

You guys have totally lost me.

What is the verdict on this then?

My information remains unchanged. It's up to you to believe what you read. Maybe this will help the nonbelievers. Click the attachment.

The way it should work with Warden is thus: If you have two WoW processes running, one of them has GB/HB attached to it, and one does not (because that is how it works) and then warden scans, it will scan both processes, but only 1 of them will have the attached memory locations (this is assuming of course that Warden is changed to be able to detect GB/HB) so it should only flag the account of the WoW process that has the modified memory locations.

Can I buy another PCI adpater? To help partition the MAC addresses my bots run.
