Making $2250/month on this came was fun... It's crazy how in just a week it can go from that, down to $150-$200/wk. But I dont regret any of it, when PVP comes out, I have a feeling prices will SKY ROCKET. I can't wait for that day.

They already made patch one month ago, Do you expect they will introduce new content every several weeks so you guys can keep earning average western european wages with 3 bots ?

Of course. That makes sense for them and us. Blizz knows how to make money, and the amount of gold coming in that is available to sell is going up, but not by a lot. If they can grab some people back with PVP or whatever else they think of, they make a lot more money. 15% of $.50 - $1 is a lot more than 15% of $.35 or less.

Goldprice is function of supply and demand, now theres probably 100 times more gold in circulation than 1 month after premiere, but blizzard is getting same cash for 100 mill sold at 0.25 $/mill as 1 mill sold for 2,5 $/mill, and ppl are spending always as much real money as they can afford regardless of price per 1 mill gold, so blizz doesnt care about goldprice, do you comprehend ?

Yes. Problems?

If u want to be delusional, be my guest.

Wrong, people are buying far less off the AH and blizzard is getting far less because there's no reason to buy more gear once you're geared. The AH is flooded with cheap gear, they're going to do something, and when that something happens gold price will go up.

There's absolutely no demand for anything but the very highest items right now, market might as well be considered dead.

The fact that people on here are making 1/4th or even 1/10th what they were before is a clue that Blizzard is making FAR less off of the RMAH.

I agree with what You said, but i think that they will just introduce PVP within couple of months to create demand for items wit affixes that are useles right now, and in the long run add new items to the game, but its unlikely that this will bring siginificant rise of gold price, and its also unlikely that they do something to increase value of gold itself, because if they wanted they would implement it during game development phase.

Honestly I think gold is being duped right now. If it were supply and demand it would take me awhile to sell my gold at the blizzard recommended price but no matter how many hundreds of million gold I put up it sells in about an hour or less. Another reason I think it is being duped is because if it were pure inflation prices on items would be skyrocketing but we don't see that instead we see prices of items falling. A few of my asian friends have read theories on Chinese forums and that's what they seem to think is happening too.

As I look at my pile of gold which was posted on RMAH ~24 hours ago and still not sold, I believe that a HUGE amount of gold came out of nowhere on AH in a short period of time. Till yesterday I sold any amount of gold in 1-30 minutes. And now I can't sell it at all. I don't think that it's possible that gold became totally worthless so quickly.

Gold price is a factor of supply and demand, and the demand is far lower than the supply. This isn't because so much more gold is coming in, but because people no longer need to spend as much.

Most people have good gear by previous standards, and comfortably farm MP6+. The ones who don't have gear at that level are probably not spending cash on the RMAH, as they would have better gear if they were willing to do that.

You have to remember that 15% of the gold spent on the GAH disappears. I believe that for a while, this was getting pretty close to balancing the amount of gold coming in. Now, so many people have quit, and so many are not buying new gear, that tons of gold is coming in, the supply is inflating, and the demand is at the floor.

Made almost $100 today and I only have 2 bots. You would have had to waste a lot of gold and be the worst botter ever to not make it back - even in this economy.

when PVP comes out, I have a feeling prices will SKY ROCKET. I can't wait for that day.

i have a feeling pvp items will be available via "arena-points" (similar to WoW) - so i am afraid the PvM Items won't gain that much worth just because of PvP

So full of derp.

Millions of gold? You mean around $25+ per bot? If you weren't able to make that back you are doing something wrong.

apparently blizz heard your prayers and are ninjaing patch 1.0.6 tomorrow..... out of nowhere...... perhaps this will spice things up a bit again....
I have 1b waiting to be sold on EU and no one wants it :-/

Diablo III Launcher
Diablo III Patch 1.0.6 - v.1.0.6.13300

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue that allowed players to bypass the one-second trade timer when exchanging items via the Trade window
Fixed an issue that caused the same item to occasionally drop for players using Threatening Shout with the Grim Harvest rune

I wonder if they fix AH in EU with this patch, if not this affair will become legendary.
