Diary lvl 80-85 through mining and herbing

Day one 26.12.2010:
Bought a 30 day version of gatherbot
after reading some tutorials I started botting at 19:00
char:warrior twink herb and mining 450 no gear lvl 80 with no exp
go to work at 20:00
I am aslo using a speedhack

Day two 27.12.2010
got back from work at 2:30
bot has a diconnect at 1:00
locking at full bags and a level 81 warrior
sending items to twink
start botting again at 3:00

Woke up at 11:20
lvl 81 with more then a half level full bags still botting
stopped botting at 15:00
lvl 82
Starting now again 23:10
now using uldum profile

Day Three 28.12.10
woke up at 11:30
full bags and half way to 83
so far sold items for 20k

while boring it certainly makes you richer just leveled a dk and rogue to 85 farming herbs and ores only

approximately 100 played hours - woulda been faster but had a few GB issues (which are now resolved), issues with profiles and I was deliberately leaving one in MH rather than move to deepholm/uldum where the exp is slightly better

I leveled 3 DKs from 80 to 85 and my Warrior from 78 to 85 in this fashion. Does take more time than Hb (several days) but with decent Cata green gear and good macros the bot will rip up any mobs and get you lots of mats while leveling. Then at lvl 85, green/blue AH gear will destroy most any mobs out there. Was def worth leveling in this fashion as the prices for mats are still decently high.
