Lol you kids need to calm down. Yes you paid for the service and I'm sure the people in charge are doing what they can to get it running. They have in the past so why wouldn't they this time.
If you went to McDonalds and ordered a big mac do you want it made correctly the first time or do you want it to be made in 20 seconds and have them forget the meat and then you have to wait again??
So what if you are running 10-30 bots. Play one character in the mean time or go do something else. Is the world really going to end if your bot is down for 24 hours???
Seriously you should be thankful that the DB group has put such a bot together for you and you shouldn't be jumping down their throats when things aren't going the way you want..... Actually now that I think about it this seems to be a common trend with the majority of the Diablo 3 community.... whiney, bitchy, self entitled little kids that need to learn they don't always get what they want when they want.... New generation i guess...
They did not make this bot to help any of us, they created the bot for money, anyways we live in a society that celebrates how thankful we are for the things we have (thanksgiving), then a few hours later are ready to trample and shoot people over holiday sales.
You can sit back and keep insulting people or you can try to educate people, I for one would rather educate people to understand whats going, then to come out and insult them.
Now if this was your internet connection, cell phone, cable, electric or anything else, and if it went out for days, I am sure you'll have words to your service provider. So do not think you are any different then the people who came here to voice their feelings, REMEMBER freedom of speech. They have all right to speak what they want as long as they do it in a respectful way.
I have a feeling we will not see an update tonight, But that's my thoughts.
You mention people should be thankful, sorry to say it but the people who are running 10-30 or even 100+ accounts and this bot is the reason they keep updating this bot. So maybe you should be the one thankful for the people who are buying more then one session. Lets face it, more money they make on it, the better for the end users no matter how many accounts we own.
regardless they are a company, and if one of my services went offline for a few days, I would be personally involved to fix the issues well maintaining regular updates during business hours.
This would include
Mass emails to all my clients
Forum sticky to explain the problems and how we plan on fixing it.
Updates on what we are doing
Then again my clients pay monthly, so a simple problem like this could hurt me a lot more then if I was collecting a yearly subscription.
