Diablo 3 Lags when minimized?

When I minimize the Diablo 3 window to bot, it lags out intensely. The amount of CPU it has access to it limited intensely. It begins to lag intensely and the bot dies a LOT unless I have clicked into it and have it on top mode (thus getting its required CPU usage). I have tried setting the process priority to high or even the max and nothing, still lags.

In Diablo 2, you could add a switch in the shortcut//target area which kept it on top at all times even when it wasn't which solved the problem. How do you do this in Diablo 3 so that I can do other things while botting?

Options > Video > Increase max background FPS or disable it.

Don't minimise it, just keep it in the background. And don't limit the FPS in D3 settings.
