even though this is not solely DB-related I hope this is the correct forum to post to.
As of last season (and the four seasons before), I was able to happily bot in a 32bit Windows 7 VM running on a Debian host (VMware Player 12). I hadn't played this season until about a week ago and decided it would be nice to not farm those pesky bounties by hand.
To my surprise, the bot doesn't run anymore in the VM. When I start D3 via Battle.net and not exit the Battle.net app after, I can't join the game world because I instantaneously get the "your client has been disconnected ...". When I exit the Battle.net app, I can enter a game (it is a bit laggy, though). But after successfully entering a game, I can't start the bot. It does all the spell/spec recognition but after that no log message appears and nothing happens.
I've tried everything from 4-8 GB RAM, 1-4 CPUs and Windows 7 32/64bit as well as Windows 8.1 64bit. Nothing works.
Does anybody have an idea on what is happening?
