NO need for BETA, just update to the newest 289 build. It is saying "dont update if you are EU" but since it was put on at midnight EU had still D3 unpatched. Thats why the "update warning" was put in.
Now the new patch is online and 289 works like a charm. At least for me(Btw. YAR is not working with the newest build)
