Thanks to A mysterious benefactor i bring you this to have a look at.

How To Use:
Unzip to Plugins Folder Keeping Directory Structure
Goto Fizzcrank Airstrip, stand between the two guys at the bottom of the lift.
Fire UP HB, and enable Plugin. start then stop HB.
make sure your still between the two guys.
Now click the button for the plugin and watch him use the lift on his own.
ps best not to hit it when its at the bottom

when he gets to the top press it again and he will go down :)

Rinse and Repeat.


PS off to bed now but tell me what you guys think, ps will update my other pulgins when i get in from work tomorrow to 1.9.6.3

Thanks for the work mate, Also would this work for the lift in Zangermarsh getting up to Telrador?
 
i hope so but some pathing work will be needed by dev team to integrate it properly i did this for the 70-80 questing profile im doing, I released this demo to show it is doable will look at the other lifts if i get a chance but as of now only the fizzcrank lift is supported in the demo.

PS where are all the lifts so i can check them out i know this one, 1k needles and shatt are there others?

also going to look into tram and boats too when i have time :)

oh and not forgetting portals too.

  • Teleredor in Zangar Marsh
  • Stormspire in Netherstorm
  • Aldor Tier
  • Scryer Tier
  • a couple in Searing Gorge Cauldren (if you're so inclined, it would be appreciated)

Yes hopefully this will work in Zangar Marsh, I need it!

Only other lift I can think of straight away is thunder bluff
 
what do you mean ate this is a demo to show it can be done and it only works at fizzcrank and only on button press i can do you a zang demo but until the meshes are altered to path to the lifts ie want to use then it will all have to be done with conditional statments like im using in my questing plugin eg. if quest 1 complete and have quest 2 in quest log goto lift handin quest 1 pickup quest 3 goto lift, continue as you where.
 
yeah i need to figure out how to handle continent switching.
the main prob here is how will bot get on and off the boat, i think; so got an idea:
say you wonna come from Eastern Kingdoms to Borean Tundra: make a bot goto Stormwind harbor first, to the edge of a peer where boat should arrive, and then wait for specific NPC (First Mate Fitzgerald, the one of the sailors on the SW-Borean boat, in example) to be in range (less than X yards), meaning that the boat is near. Wait 10 more seconds and go forward 10 yards. You're on boat. Then again wait for another specific NPC (Tomas Riverwell, the gryphon master in example) to be in range, meaning you arrived. Get off the boat, load profile. Good to go.
 
Would this work with profiles in which return quests up lifts, for example ; when handing in quests at Telrador in Zanger, will it automatically detect that to get to that hotspot you must go up a lift? Any response is appreciated!

No need. The Boats are GameObjects. They can be filtered. So just: if Object XY is in X yrds range, wait x seconds and step on it.
 
guys im not a HB dev so this will currently don nothing that isnt explicitly scripted my idea is to update the meshes to conect at a single point at the top and bottom of lifts and if you reach that sport the pugin would take over and use the lift and then let go and he would continue on the path he was using. but i cant implement or test this without hb dev help.
