DH GRrift 50 for 7-10 minutes 0-5 deaths. Guide.

dude thank you so much for this guide but there's one more thing i would love to see as a picture lol Combat-Misc i would love you so much lol

Yeah, my I just made my DH and his gear is pretty crap and all, but he dies sooo much doing even T6 rifts... he's aggroing tons of adds and never casts Rain of Vengeance until he's almost dead, and sometimes never... even when completely surrounded by elites.

Love your guide, Xeeng... My DH can do GR49 quite easy with it... when i´ll finish with them i´ll try with higher ones.

Respect, dude...

@XEENG its working fine . do u can update in topic yours trinity setings plik.txt?

Does anyone notice the bot might notbe using rain of vengeance everytime? Like some times, he waits a couple o secs, or so...
Maybe we can chance this delay in configs DH combat routine?

I have to be honest and question the claim of 10billion crits. After doing some math it doesn't seem mathematically possibly with even possible proc at max dmg % and gems max'd out. More like half that is what I'm getting. I'd certainly like to see some video footage showing 10billion crits. I've got more unbuffed and buffed dmg than the OP and I've seen nothing higher now than just over 3billion crit.

I hit 12-14 billion crits with my DH, very well geared, not hard at all. just gear dependant

Can anyone give me some input on Balefire vs Calamity for my offhand? Obviously I have a very well rolled Natalya's Slayer for my main hand.

I have several of both weapons, some ancient and some not. As far as I understand the damage/DPS on the offhand is irrelevant? It should not even be considered and often re-rolled for another useful stat like CDR, RCR, Elite% or even LOH?

First off, for solo botting only, assuming weapons are EQUAL stats. Is the Balefire 20% Fire damage better or the Calamity-Mark of Death 20% damage? I do not know how Elemental damage and Mark of Death damage are calculated, of its additive or not. I just would like to know which is better, or if they are the same?

Secondly what is the stat priority for whichever offhand? Obviously 10% CDR is the most important, but when rolling for another stat which one takes the cake? Resource cost reduction, Elite damage %, Life on hit, or even Vitality? When talking in terms of Best in Slot, I get that means more Dex, which is good, but in terms of being able to have more Life on hit or Vitality, does that make those stats more appealing then RCR or Elite%?

Thirdly, I have never seen anyone try this, and maybe for a good reason. But I have a well rolled Ancient Holy Point Shot, with 20% Attack speed, 10% crit and 15% RoV damage. That got me thinking, could using a quiver with perfectly rolled stats be a better option than Calamity or Balefire? I am talking like a 20% Fire damage, 8% CDR, 20% Attack speed, 10% Crit and 15% RoV damage, with the giant Ancient Dex roll? You can only get up to 8% CDR on a quiver, so that might make a difference as well. Again I do not know how the damage applies, so I thought I would just throw this out there and see what some of you think.

Lastly, for our neck piece. Can anyone say one way or another if an Ancient amulet with Dex, is better/worse then Elemental damage%? With the Ancient rolls, you can get up to 1000 Dex, as well as a much higher 100-200 Damage stat. Do either of these make a better neck? Or is 20% Fire damage, CHC, CHC and Socket the winner?

Thanks in advance for the help!

"Calamity" wins big time.
1. In case you already have +20% fire damage on your bracers or amulet, "Calamity" gives you +4% DPS vs "Balefire Caster".
2. If you have +40% on both bracers and amulet, Calamity will give you +8% DPS.
3. If you don't have any elemental damage boost it doesn't matter which one you choose.

We need harmony and balance between all of our stats.
Because
a) Same stats are additive
b) Different stats are multiplicative.

Example:
1. 100% (your current DPS) + 20% fire damage + 20% fire damage + 20% fire damage = 160%
2. 100% (your current DPS) + 20% fire damage + 20% marked for death ("Calamity" instead of "Balefire Caster") + 20% Sertain skill damage ("Natalya X-bow" instead of "Holy Point Shot" quiver with fire % boost) = 100% x 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2 = 172%

These are just an examples of how to build your character. It's better to get a lot of few different DPS sources than stack just one DPS buff type to the roof.

Offhand Damage.

While ROV counts damage only from your main hand, Strafe and Evasive fire alternates between you main hand and offhand.
Rerolling damage on offhand will lower your DPS in between RoV by ~50%. I think it's not very nice.
Also I saw one good post about N6 build, where dude thinks that further progression of N6 lies in increasing your DPS output between RoV casts.
I agree with him.

RCR is irrelevant stat for N6 build.
It would be helpfull if we had 6 primary stats on our gear. Then 5th was AS and RCR was only 6th.

We are botting here, and bot is not a genius, so I decided to buff my Vit. It helps.
If i were playing hand by hand I would roll Elite DMG% or +10% DPS on my offhand.

"Holy Point Shot"
I had thoughts about perfectly rolled "Holy Point Shot" but It could only have 5 main stats. It means you need to drop one of:

1. +20% Fire Damage
As I said before "Calamity" buffs you better

2. +8% CDR
2% less than with x-bow

3. +20% AS
Any offhand x-bow gives you 15% AS but it doesn't take a slot in your primary stats

4. +15 ROV%
You will anyway lose CHD which is huge almost 25% DPS buff

5. +10% CHC
~50% CHC is totally fine, 60% is not that necessary.

6. 1000 DEX
You can have it on your X-Bow

The only thing you can win from it is "+10% Critical Hit Chance" in exchange for 2 additional primary stats. Lame.
I can't see a way that a quiver could beat 1h x-bow, :(

Amulet "+Element%" or "main stat".

That's easy. Your average Dex should be about 10k.
+1000 dex = 10% DPS increase.
+20% elemental damage = 20% DPS increase.

The winner is "Flavour of time" with 20% elemental damage, 10 CHC, 100 CHD, 8% CDR, Socket.
Good luck finding it! :rolleyes:

I think "Hellfire Amulet" could only buff our toughness since we already have all the best DPS passives.

Hey Xeeng,

Still having a lot of trouble finding upgrades to my gear that get me some of the stats like you have mainly CDR, etc. Anyways, could you post screenshots of all your details where you're just standing in your home base with no buffs, etc. I'm trying to get a baseline and the screenshots you posted are a little skewed since you took then while in combat it looks like. If you could post updated ones like right when you start a game and just standing in the main base I'd greatly appreciate it without any buffs, procs, etc.

Also if you could screenshot how you have your paragon points distributed that would be helpful too.

Xeeng,

Thanks for all the info, it helped a lot!

Another thing I would like to ask you is about the follow items you have listed. I have mainly geared my templar to get the most DPS as possible. I have a decent ancient rolled Thunderfury and ancient Lidless Wall as well. I still at about 850k DPS. In terms of switching to a Eun-jang-do and Freeze of Deflection, is using normal versions of these for now to get their procs outweigh the DPS loss from my other items? I realize the DPS from my follower is minimal at best, so I was not sure if the procs would be much better?

Thanks in advance.

I having trouble locating it doesnt exist in my DemonhunterConbat.cs file. Ive searched and looked through the whole file. I have wicked geared n6 Dh and hes getting his shit kicked in. I have every other setting set exactly like yours, editing that file is the only thing different. help!

Rain of vengeance. Open DemonHunterCombat.Cs and change

if (Legendary.CrashingRain.IsEquipped)
meta.TargetPositionSelector = skillMeta => TargetUtil.GetBestClusterPoint(30f, 80f);

To

if (Legendary.CrashingRain.IsEquipped)
meta.TargetPositionSelector = skillMeta => TargetUtil.GetBestClusterPoint(1f, 30f);

REPLACED MY DEMONHUNTERCOMBAT FILE WITH YOURS FROM YOUR TRINITY. TESTING NOW.

These settings changed the DH dynamics dramatically. Though, DH is insanely dependent on gear. I luckily gambled a ridiculous Nats xbow... which has clearly helped. Cleared 51 a few mins ago. It usually NEVER makes it past 49 though. One champion pack with walls/reflect and its over; it may as well just restart on a new GR.

To prove how painfully I tried UA build, i will show you a picture of 10 bil gold reroll on quiver.

.

i changed my item list for the hell of it when i was doing quivers when i saw how you were trying to reroll that quiver and this just dropped i still dont think that the unhollowed build can compete with N6 build
