DH bot dying Act 2 every elite pack

So I've had my bot for about a month now and I am running Act 1 on 300% MF for about 8 hours a day.
The issue I am seeing right now is that all the legendaries that drop are below 60 and therefore worth squat.

I tried running Act 2 with my current crappy gear setup but I die every single time.

Current setup:
30k dps w/o sharpshooter
1250 dex
1520 vit
244 resist all
12% crit chance
244% crit damage
75k health
24% movement speed
300% magic find

I'm wondering, do I boost up my RA and vit and defensive abilities or do I just go balls out glass cannon style to do this?

Any advice from people who have ran demon hunter bots?

What kind of gear requirements do I need to run Act 2 and 3 without dying? Is it even worth it or should I just buy another account/license and run barb bot until the cows come home?

I guess I can wait it out with 1.05 and see how well the 25% less damage does for me eh?

If you roll a barb bot, you can get it to 60 in 1 day and for 5-10 mil gold be able to bot act 3. I wouldn't bot a DH if you paid me.

5-10 mill? you need at least 15-20 mill for act 3 in gear. and that's still with maybe a few deaths an hour.

1mil for act I, about 5-10mil for act II, but act III, yea... 20mil + to do it effectively. I consider effective as i don't use more mystic potions than I pick up. If ur potion count is dropping, u need better gears.

Just built a A3 barb for 7M, 1.1k-1.2k RA, 10k armor, 20k DPS, 1.3k LOH

Died once in 10 hours so far.

i call shenanigans! proof screenshot of each gear piece and its value from AH, most likely you already had a lot of the gear he'd need from another char and finished him off with 7 mill for the remaining items. that and 0% mf.

Dude I can find any piece of non-jewelry gear with at least 100 Vit, 50 Str, 60 AR and Armor/Phys Res/Fire Res. My ghetto barb only does 22k dps with frenzy and marauders rage but he still kills elite packs. 2 deaths an hour max. You should easily be able to find items similar to that setup for 100k per. You only really spend money on the helm, shield and weapon.

if you took all your DH gear and put it on a lvl60 barb then he would die less than that. including the bow

You can get a shit helm of command and stormshield for a couple hundred thousand each and they will work in A3.

i haven't ever been able to get good dps using a shield. plus 1handers are so freakin' expensive... i'm using skorns across the board and their mortality rate is pretty good

Get to 600+ resist all, 700+ life per sec & per hit.

Also guys please stop recommending to reroll barb, there is a reason he said DH in the thread name.

yeah but i was serious with the stormshield + command on a demonhunter. should work but ofc u need a expensive 1handxbow and strong other pieaces

Just leveled a barb to 25 and was hitting up the fast zoltan kulle runs and hit the input limit. I am now waiting for the ban hammer to hit the account. So sad because I put 25 to 40 second waits on starting the games too. I'm skuurrred.

I will look into the SS+command and the life on hit, life regen, boost my all resist and see how it goes.
