Jesus relax. I botted half the night and dc'ed. Let your toons idle. You can get the bot online just gotta keep trying. Learn to relax. Take the weekend off if you cant be sitting by it.
 
Some people aren't aware of/don't experience often the problem to which you are refering. It's a new xpac where 90% of the game was changed in some way or another. Many changes are major, and there are doubtlessly millions of smaller changes. Not to mention bliz keeps hotfixing, changing abilities, and have come to 5.1 within a month of game release. Honorbuddy doesn't get to "keep up", it has to catch up. That takes time, so why don't we stop whining after farming multiple chars to 85 and farming 12 hour days on *almost* full afk for most of cata. Give them time to catch up, especially since bliz is on such a roll updating everything. They'll balance (somewhat) and bliz will slow down. Then catching up will become keeping up and then you have a right to whine. FYI: the hardest part is, blizzard is purposely keeping things behind the curtains to make botting so difficult. That's why they introduce things on the ptr/beta in phases, and then take away things that have been tested/decide to add or change things just as patch comes out. Moral of the story.. give them time and you won't have to hear me rant.

None the less. Atleast 5 days to fix the auth problem is a bit steep.(Announcement was made on 18th)

Hmm I don't want to bitch you but my AutoIt install (3.3.8.1) doesn't have the included UDF for the function _Imagesearcharea() that you are writing there and $x2 and $y2 are set to 0 both, why even bother using those variables if they are set to 0 and never changed by anything?
Some very bad incomplete code to say the least.
What is it supposed to do? Wait 10 sec (after the var declarations) and then click on a picture?

lol... Don't post code if you don't know what you're posting...

Size of the team shouldnt matter if they planned ahead for starters.. second off size of the team shouldnt matter if they planned their product properly. The fact is that with proper planning you can grow an environment in minutes.

I hope that this is a lesson to be learned by bossland and co.. Although I love their product this really is rather frustrating.

I dont mean to complain just point out that their failure to plan is the root of the problem.

I have one bit of key advice to bossland and crew... Virtualize :) It will make your lives easier and I think they probably know it Just wanted to say it :D
 
They are keeping us updated, it has worked in MoP besides for maybe a couple times for me? I don't understand why people are so bitchy about this shit. Calm down and breath.

well there are some who seem to be luckier than others, but I for one have been unable to bot for more than an hour consistently since Mop dropped. and have had extended periods where I could not log in at all. its frustrating in the least when you have something you would like to be doing. I appreciate their level of communication, but this is a service that we all have paid for or are continuing to pay for and there are some expectations that come with that, some more reasonable than others.

I have been using HB, i sold the idea to my friends and got them hooked and we all love it.

I mean really, a bot that can level you from 1-85 with a single profile-load doing quests? Where do you find another bot like that?
But that's not it, it does everything, camping rare mounts, grinding bgs, gathering, leveling professions grinding rep.
One big ass community where people from all over the world seek help and answers others questions.

The bot (the one that costs as much as a pizza and a decent beer) carries you so hard, I mean alot of wows players wouldn't even play anymore if it weren't for this bot. I wouldn't.

Lets say that they would do a Pirox on the customers, run away with "our money".
What then?
I would buy them a beer, a fucking good one, and I would treat them for some awesome meals at a fancy restaurant and I would still feel like I owe them.
The botpirce is a fucking steal, cmon 24.98 for a year of botting, 24/7 support.



Thank you to all the devs, I wish I could show my gratitude in a better way than words or donations.
But if you ever get to Sweden, home of the pirates, I would beer you all up! :D

I'm sorry, but all criticism is valid...
I'm not using any bot very often. However whenever I try I run into countless issues, errors, problems... I've sent more error reports to you guys, than to any other product I've been using since 15 years of computing...
And I'm not even sending every report!

It's a matter of fact, that HB hasn't felt as much love as DemonBuddy, or other products, since the new market took place. We discussed about that already when the new InstanceBuddy feature has been postponed after postpone for something like 3 months... When the release took place it was insanely bugging out. You fixed that more less, however it has never been perfect since that.

When MoP came out, you were one of the last one which released their Bot. To be honest you've got the most functionality, so more needs to be updated and taken care off. Also you did an obvious rewrite, what in my opinion was pretty well done.
However we are still facing a lot of issues. Some bugfixes are coming from the community (example: ProfessionBuddy not being shown in the menu and getting fixed by reinstalling Netframework and HB), some things get implemented by CombatRoutines or Plugins. But everything which is getting developed by the community won't work flawless as before, after you rolled out a new update.

So HB is NEVER running at 90%+...

And now this... I wanted to login to farm some Herbs and have to deal with a bot which suddenly stops after doing 2 minutes his job...

Saying "HB is the best bot out there" doesn't count in my opinion, as a bot which doesn't work CAN'T BE the best bot out there.
I checked for an alternative and actually found one which is free for a limited time. The Gather part actually works better than the one from HB (i.e. farming Herbs as a Druid without fighting each and every mob).

To be honest: I'm really upset about the way you are dealing with this issue and your customers.
Fixing a problem which comes up from one day to another can't be that big that it can't being fixed within hours. But you are asking your customers to wait 5 days - and if you deal with that eta the same way you did with InstanceBuddy it will be december until the bot will be working again :)

this isnt a throw money at it kind of an issue, buying a new server wont fix it, cause we did, this is a we need out programmers to write a whole new server side backend, thats what takes 5 days. if there where some other way we could fix it faster by throwing money at it, boss would of done it.
