Someone once said. If they ever ban accounts by device ID then you will wish you didn't use yours. Just use the random generator. I have had no issues and have been using this for months on multiple account.

The update said they were "obsolete settings" so I'm guessing they don't make a diff to pokemon go data or something.

I was wondering this myself.

I figured if I used the same device ID on Pokéfarmer as I have on my phone, Niantic would never be able to tell the difference between the bot and the phone.

Well, they can tell the difference, this just would have been one less indicator. (-;

that's not how they detect botters. Just use a random profile and never use your phone while botting
