DemonBuddy won't start on W8.1 pro

Hi all,

I bought the Demonbuddy 3-day trial to see if DB would be useful for me. The problem is, that I can't even get it to start. I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro, .NET Framework 4 is built in, and the various Visual C++ redistributables have been installed.
What I did: installed DB using installer, ran D3 windowed and started DB as administrator. DB won't even show anything, and it doesn't even create logs. I looked at the Windows Event logs and it shows the following error: http://pastie.org/10410658

I'd love to try DB out, but if I can't get it to work, I'm afraid I'll have to ask for my money back.

Can anyone of the team reply? It's a shame that nobody is even acknowledge that this post has been seen and that they're going to look into this.

Try using the .ZIP instead.
