Hello,

I was directed to these forums from a support ticket.

When I try to log in to Demonbuddy, It appears to start a session and then immediately I get a message saying "Demon Buddy has stopped working."

I have attached the log file as instructed.

Please let me know a solution to my problem.

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft .net framework 4.5.1
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Just to make sure it is clear. By remove, you mean delete files from the computer ? If so, can you tell me where the 5 files that I need to remove are located on my computer ?

yes you must uninstall them via control panel/programs

Ok, there are a couple of things keeping me from completing the instructions I have been given.

1st, the link that I was given in the 1st response is not valid. When I click on that link I get a web page with the message "Invalid thread specified. If you followed a link, notify an administrator."

2nd, not all of the programs (files) I was instructed to delete show up when I go to the control panel. in particular I can't find a file called - microsoft .net framework 4 client profile or anything with client profile in it.

Please advise.

No. I didn't have any antivirus program enabled.

I did a full re-install of my operating system. Then did all updates. Then installed Diablo. Then ran the BuddyWizard you linked. Then installed Demonbuddy. It seems to have worked as I have ran a few successful sessions now.

Thanks for the help.

any antivirus enabled?
