Demonbuddy randomly crashes

My demonbuddy crashes, sometimes after a bounty, sometimes while making a new game, sometimes in the middle of combat. i've run the installer and all the pre-req installers as well, has anyone else seen this?

I'm getting the same thing! It'd driving me insane. It worked fine until last night. I think ezupdater updated something and that's when it stopped during the middle of a fight. I've updated my graphics card, ran the help installers, and did a clean install of DB and D3. It still stops working randomly.
 
I'm also getting the same issue. I've posted in several threads trying to figure out what it is...

Okay try doing this. Do a fresh install, Update your version of trinity and questtools. They're outdated.
 
I've tried both those things. it doesnt seem to be a plugin that's crashing it, since it does it just idle with no plugins installed even.
 
Did you add exceptions for the DB folder in your firewall/antivirus/maleware programs? Sometimes they do autoprotects, scans and think DB is a malicious program.
 
why would it work for minutes at a time and then just crash? i do have exceptions set in everything
 
Because mine ran for days after on a new pc that came with norton, then during one of its autoscans it decided it wanted to remove some files from my DB thinking they were harmful.
 
I can confirm that this was my problem! Thanks Drazz. I had to turn off my bitdefender and malwarebytes and then do a clean install of DB to get it working. Been running smooth for 2 hours now whereas it had been crashing after 30mins. Thanks again!
