DemonBuddy Issue List Compilation
A lot of people are having the same issues and receiving the same replies from staff and members, here is a compilation of issues and suggestions.
If after reading and following this thread you still have the same issue please create a new thread making sure you give as much information as possible and you MUST including a log follow one of these guides: Guide 1 - How to attach your log |Guide 2 - How to attach your log
Issue 1 - Invalid Session and/or Authentication Failed
- Flush your DNS by going to start OR run and typing: cmd /k ipconfig /flushdns or loading command prompt and typing ipconfig /flushdns and pressing enter.
- Create an exception in your firewall (safe) or disable your firewall (puts your computer at potential risk)
- Create an exception in your antivirus/antimalware programs (safe) or disable your antivirus/antimalware program (puts your computer at potential risk)
- Create an exception in your anti-spyware programs (safe) or disable any anti-spware programs (puts your computer at potential risk) - Example PeerGuardian/PeerBlock... etc
- Use a wired connection instead of a wireless connection.
- Try rebooting your router (turning it off and on)
- Use the release build of DemonBuddy (if you're on the beta) or Use the beta build of DemonBuddy (if you're on the release build)
- Try the zip version of DemonBuddy (if using installer version) or try the installer version of D
Issue 2 - Max Sessions
- Login to Buddy Auth Portal and kill your all sessions and try again (Use your e-mail that you used on the checkout page)
- Open Task Manager and make sure there are no DemonBuddy.exe processes running.
Issue 3 - Random Crash
- Clear your Diablo III MPQ cache, located: ...\Diablo III\Data_D3\PC\MPQs\Cache
- Try running as administrator (safe) or disabling your "User Access Control" (puts your computer at potential risk)
- Disable all overlay programs like xFire, Taksi, RadeonPro, DXTory, Airfoil, EVGA Prescision, MSI Afterburner, Mumble, Razer... etc
- Download and run the Buddy Dependency Installer from: Installation Errors? Try DemonBuddyWizard, reboot and try again.
- Remove the following programs:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Extended
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x86 Redistributable
Now download and run the Buddy Dependency Installer from: Installation Errors? Try DemonBuddyWizard, reboot, run windows updates, reboot and then try again.
- Try updating Trinity and QuestTools from Trinity & QuestTools Downloads
- Try one of rrix's profiles.
- Use the release build of DemonBuddy (if you're on the beta) or Use the beta build of DemonBuddy (if you're on the release build)
- Try a raw, fresh version of the DemonBuddy with just trinity and try a profile from rrix
- Try the zip version of DemonBuddy (if using installer version) or try the installer version of DemonBuddy (if using the zip version)
Issue 4 - Compiler Error
- If you're seeing a compiler error about the Belphegor plugin regarding 'Zeta.Game.Internals.Actors.SNOPower' does not contain a definition for 'Monk_DashingStrike' just ignore it, it's safe.
Issue 5 - Hanging / Stopping in Town during Sell/Salvage Routine
- If you have a Bottomless Potion launch Diablo III and then DemonBuddy now click the little arrow to the right of Settings and click on Bot and then "Edit Protected Bag Slots" and click and protect the slot where your bottomless potion is.
