DemonBuddy Is DEAD. Blame the Devs

Still no working randomised dungeons, only ones you have to actually still path and that is still buggy as fuck.

Devs have completely disappeared and updates for demonbuddy have been nothing short of disgraceful.

All because of stupid devs don't even care about DemonBuddy and now that they have your money nothing is happening.

This fucking bot is now completely useless without voluntary contributors from the community whom HAVE ALL LEFT BECAUSE THEY FEEL THE DEVS DON'T DO JACK FUCK COMPARED TO THE WORK THEY ARE PUTTING IN.

DemonBuddy bot itself is completely dead, you cannot get it functioning without plugins and profiles from others. Bot doesn't even fucking as a relogger because the devs are too fucking lazy to build a relogger feature on a automated software that crashes 24/7 .

What the fuck is going on?

Devs have dispersed and stopped updating as soon as immortalbot and hellbuddy went out of business, they know they have a monopoly. What a bunch of selfish individuals

Now they are wasting all their time making stupid little kiddie games like game for Google Play: Epic Fish Story, download it and catch the fish.

Perhaps a little blunt, but not completely untrue.
Dev's are not working on DB as much as they should. True, random dungeons are not working properly, the community interaction (like in the starting days of DB) have diminished, and DB is NOT a standalone program. Community effort is absolutely a necessity for DB to survive and work properly.

Of course, people are still making money; but usually with a lot of tinkering and input from the community. imho, this shouldn't be the case - time and community input should be optional; not required.

Hell - why DB doesnt hire Giles, Raddoic.. all of Ciggarc for a small cut of profits is beyond me. It would give incentive to the 'community devs' to put out quality (not that they dont.. at all) and also, more importantly, fill the void that DB lacks.

I havent had it crash since hawker pushed that .221. I run a version of act 3 core etc with 0 plugins dont even use profile restarter because it never works. You're right though look at that poll most people feel the updates are lacking, but it is what it is we deal with it or quit. People leave new people will step up that's how it works.

Demonbudy is a bot, nothing more. They have no obligation to provide us with profiles, plugins or anything thing else.

honorbudy as you so casually put it, is exactly the fucking same...... the profiles/plugins provided with it were made BY THE USERS..... such as kick (who only recently became a dev, because of his hard work).

Being completely honest here:

As far as the bot goes, it works. As long as it doesn't crash for some asinine reason and it's working we have more then enough contributors to get up and running very smoothly.

The one thing I feel lacking is the random dungeon support but I think they are working on it and I know it must be hard to implement it so I don't blame them too much.

People just need to chill and wait for updates it's not like these guys are running with the money (Immortal bot, Hellbuddy etc.)

4 VERY important things...
1. we haven't forgotten or given up on DB, we are working on it, its just taking some time.
2. if you have a profile maker you like then use their paypal links and help them out or ask how you can help, US directly paying them as we've already dealt with this problem with honor buddy doesn't work, and that's why we don't do it. but if they needed something from us all they have to do is ask, and none of them have. hell the other day a profile dev lost his account, and i put him in contact with hawker so we could replace it, so yea, that "you dont support your community developers" is complete BS. if your making money off their profiles then make a donation, its as simple as that.
3. the troll who made the thread is using tor and no doubt ether someone from a failed competitor to make us look bad and make threads like this to cause us more problems or a troll who we've already banned from other accounts. ether way
4. if you have a problem with the product then ask for a refund, obviously people are here just to complain when all they have to do if they want out is to leave. if you don't like the bot then fine, maybe botting isn't for you, and you should consider another line of "work".

Thread closed, im all for threads where you guys can vent and complain, but when a troll makes a thread like this just to stir the pot, no one wins.
